I traveled to India on my first big solo trip away from North America. I felt safe and well taken care of the entire trip. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, especially Pam for the night food tour of old Delhi. My driver, Devender, was superb! All of the hotels - even the elephant camp - were absolutely top notch. The itinerary was full but also well-paced. Thank you to Chris and the entire team for making my trip so memorable and effortless.

We have travelled a lot. internationally 2-3x/year and the Wife said this was her best experience yet. All details attended to. Facilities superb. Guides became like family. Trust these guys, even if, like me, you are perfectly comfortable taking on the details planning of your overseas travel. it may cost a dollar more but it is so much easier - and maybe imperative for some destinations

Personal guides and drivers! The trip was wonderful

Outstanding support and organization We specified the region in Spain that we wanted it to visit. Travelous put together a package that was what we wanted. Since we’re experienced travelers we did not want guides in several cities and museums. In those towns or cities which had a special history we did want assistance by a guide. They were great. Additionally we are birders. The regio outside Bilbao is a known place for birding and photography. Travelous set up an excursion with an experienced birding guide. What a fantastic experience watching golden eagles tearing apart a chicken. Previously killed. Having driven before in Spain travel between cities is very easy. Signs and roadways are well marked and in excellent condition. We wish Pennsylvania roads were as nice. Within cities we parked the car and walked or took a cab to some recommended restaurants. Parking in cities is a challenge. We were met upon arrival by a representative who expedited us after immigration and customs with a driver taking us to our hotel. Another great service provided is a local representative to contact in the event of a problem. We had a “glitch “ in a scheduled excursion. Contacted the local representative and miraculously we were able to carry on with our planned tour. Travelous has helped us with numerous travel experiences. Every one has been wonderful . They plan your journey based on your desires, budget, style of accommodation And make every effort to provide an outstanding travel experience.

The itinerary was in depth, the guides were knowledgeable and so personable, and the drivers careful and also personable. Our hotels were lovely and exceeded our expectations. We cherished the ability to meet real Egyptians and Jordanians. One of our most favorite trips.

Great planning before the trip so that the itinerary could not be smoother. Wonderful having q local contact who could help with little problems as they come up. Although we did not have a major issue, it is comforting to know there was someone there who could help. The list of recommended restaurants and things to do in a specific location was very helpful.
