The booking process was good but we expected to be given more options and selections on things to do. Once in Japan, the experience and tour guides were all excellent and very customer focused. We really liked the personal customized approach and will use your service in future.

The customer service at airports/facilitating arrival and departures was exceptional. All of the drivers were fantastic. Our tour guide in Aswan and Luxor was terrific. We particularly enjoyed some of the off the beaten path experiences--lunch at the Mud House; Nubian Village, and an unexpected sunset sail on the Nile. Some days itineraries were too long and somewhat exhausting. Also, in Cairo, the tour of the Great Pyramid was scheduled mid-morning. It was so crowded that I aborted and paid to go back the next morning early. I was in and out in under 30 minutes and had a great experience. I recommend that visits to these major tourist attractions be scheduled for first thing in the morning.

Our guides were exceptional. Hotels were great. Cruise ship was mediocre.

The best part of this company is the quality of guides and representatives they have on the ground in Egypt. We loved every guide and felt so taken care of. The itinerary was a good overview for our first trip to Egypt. There is room for improvement with the pre trip communication. Most of it felt last minute and rushed for a trip we booked over a year in advance. As veteran trip planners, we wanted to see as much as possible and not waste time. I feel like I should have been more forceful about this pre-trip, as we ended up having to update things as we went and there was some needless downtime.

Overall a great trip to Turkey. Hotel choices were good; our guide was very knowledgeable and the itinerary was perfect. There were a few glitches along the way, but overall I'd give it 4 stars out of 5.

From my first conversation with Johanna, I knew if I were to use a travel agent, she would be the one. She immediately picked up on our wants and needs for a Spain Basque Country trip. Our itinerary was perfect and the choice of guides excellent. Having the Oasis Travel Platform was something I cannot imagine traveling with out. Oasis not only made it easy to follow our itinerary but also included our travel documents and tickets. Unfortunately, I am unable to give 5 stars as there were snafus with the drivers that were scheduled. Upon our return monetary adjustments were made but that cannot make up for a day lost in Switzerland due to not having a driver when it was most needed after a full day of riding on trains. When and if we do more international travel Johanna will be my go-to person.

Our trip was great, but on three days our guides had different itineraries than what was presented to us. We were able to change things in one instance, in the other 2 we just didn’t see everything we thought we were going to see.

This was my first time booking a tour with Travelous. I had a great trip March 2022. My primary suggestion, should you book with them, is to be sure your itinerary is exactly what you are expecting for your trip. I was disappointed with the guides/reps in Luxor that we were assigned, and felt unsafe in one hotel where we were booked.
