I made a one-time purchase of just €0.50 for a transcription service, without being aware that it was linked to a recurring subscription. It was not clearly disclosed to me that I would be charged additional fees. I only discovered the issue when checking my bank account and noticed a €49.99 charge and an active subscription I never intended to sign up for. I find this completely unacceptable. I simply wanted to use the transcription service once, not commit to a subscription. I have no intention of using this website again, and I am demanding a full refund of the €49.99 and the immediate cancellation of the subscription. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly. I should not have to pay for a service I did not knowingly agree to and will never use.

The website trick you to buy the recording for 0.5 EUR, but instead it set it up as monthly subscription and stole money like this.

This is a fraud service. I never signed up for a subscription, but they charged me fo 39€ without any way of cancelling the service. I raised a law sue against the owner and hopefully he'll end up behind the bars.

Transcribe states it is free. It is not! They require a $49.00 per month subscription which they let you know after they transcribe the video but before you can view or download the transcription.

Took out a 7-day trial (£0.55) and was charged £43.00 shortly after when it auto-converted to a subscription. The trial-to-paid renewal wasn't made clear at signup, and the first I properly noticed was the charge landing. To their credit there's an in-app "Manage subscription" option, but the auto-renewal itself is easy to miss and the trial framing oversells how cheap the service is. If you trial this, set a reminder to cancel before day 7 and keep an eye on your statement. The lack of a clear heads-up before the full charge is the issue.
