The content is dry and repetitive which is to be expected. It's the spelling and grammatical errors that's most frustrating. The courses were simple and informative. We'll see if it's sufficient preparation for the state exam.

I am so discouraged. I purchased these courses over 5 years ago in hopes that I would be able to quickly learn the information and pass my exam. I finally managed to pass the courses but not because I actually learned anything. I've wasted my money and time and unfortunately don't have the funds to purchase another course. I am an intelligent person that catches on quickly but this material is presented in such a poor manner it's almost like it was translated digitally from another language. The material is all over the place and not logical. Please, if you are serious about getting your license, spend a couple hundred more dollars and invest in a better school and start off on the right foot. Their reviews are not true, there is no way someone could pass the exam unless they just memorized the questions and answers. I don't want to just pass but I actually want to learn what I'm supposed to learn in order to get licensed. I want to give trainagents.com more stars because they are very responsive and customer service is great but I just can't. Don't take my word for it, look at the overall pass rates on trec.texas.gov

Jaqueline, I am really sorry to hear about your difficulties. But with all due respect it sounds like you are giving yourself 1 star and not us. We have tens of thousands of students who have enrolled in our courses, finished within a few weeks and then go pass the state exam the first time. Real estate is not for everyone and online learning is not for everyone, I totally get that, it isn't really about one's intelligence level. We have one of the best 1st time pass rates in the state and our courses are approved by the state agency as well as a national governing body so we feel very good about the content and presentation. I wish you the best of luck in the future. Our first time pass rate is higher than the overall state average so we feel very good about that.

The classes are user friendly, but for a 30 hour class, it seems to take at least 3X as long as it should. Each segment that should be 1 hour or less takes about 2 hours. I would say when online, a 30 hour class takes more like 90 hours realistically. Online is convenient,and the price is great, but in-person would probably be easier / less time.

Hi Megan, thank you for the review! Many, many people finish the 30 hour courses in less than 30 hours and some do not. And that is actually the beauty of online education, you get to go at a pace that is comfortable for you so that you have the best chance of learning and understanding the material. In a classroom setting the pace may be too quick for any particular person and they would fall behind and have less success of passing. The goal isn't necessarily going fast.

Lots of grammatical errors, spelling errors, mathematical errors, and/or typos. Has anyone reviewed the content for these errors? I wanted to take the time to send screen shots of all the errors I've found so far (I've only started in my first section) but then realized this is something that you should have done prior to selling your product. I'm disappointed because I read these reviews before buying the product. However your responses to these accusations asserted that corrections were made to these errors. Was that a lie or do you just have so many of them you aren't catching all of them? Whoever is responsible for these errors should be fired. The person reviewing the content should be fired. The owner of this product needs to stop selling this product until all content has been reviewed. At the very least refund our money back for such a poor product. Update: 12/23/206 In response to your reply, it is because of your thinking that it's the student's fault explains why you continue to have errors in your content. The mathematical error that I mentioned was an example that YOUR CONTENT provided. You left out a "0" in your equation example. If you bothered to actual review your content, you would have caught this error. I appreciate the refund but am disappointed that a company like yours will continue to sell a faulty product despite the many responses you have received about these errors and typos in your content. One alone should have been enough to go back and have someone review your content. But it seems you have no interest in making any corrections.

I am very sorry you feel this way! 99% of the support tickets we receive stating a math problem is incorrect is the student making a mistake. I can assure you there is little to no mistakes in the mathematical equations as they go through 3 different independent approvals at state and national levels. If you feel there is an error with the math please send us the exact problem and we will provide you with the solution for your review. As far as typos, I will agree that there will be an occasional typo, it happens and we won't be firing anyone over it. There are also many words in real estate that are specific to the business and cannot be found in a dictionary. We will be very happy to issue a refund if you send a request to [email protected]. We have had over 40,000 students in the last 10 years alone and have a very high satisfaction ranking and have one of the highest first time pass rates in the state. Thank you for your feedback. We make corrections every single day, however, there is a very complicated and drawn out process to update the online course due to state requirements. We cannot simply make changes to the online course. We are required to re-submit the course to the state and wait for approval. The state and an additional national governing body approves the course you are taking and if there is a mathematical error it made it past 3 rounds of review. I apologize that a math problem in your course was missing a 0. I can assure you that errors can be found in almost any math course at any school or college. Mistakes can be made by human beings from time to time. Thank you again for pointing it out to us.

Poor spelling in some cases by class provider. All information adequate. On line kept showing errors notices and couldn't find any? Over all good online course and good information.
