I never buy fresh meat at Trader Joe's but took a chance on their "Angus Beef Patties, C.B.S. Blend". 20oz/$11.99. the other day. Here to ask how it's possible that patties made with chuck and brisket as is claimed can be totally devoid of flavor? Eyes closed would say I was eating maybe a kitchen sponge. Will return them.

Best flower selection in town with many unusual choices at very low prices. Great cheese selection with many European choices. I love the organic and gluten free food options. Extensive and affordable wine inventory with knowledgeable employees to answer questions. Many prepared foods in the frozen section that are reasonably priced. Trader Joe’s in general uses better ingredients in their cleaning supplies, toiletries and personal care items. Highly recommend.

I was shocked and disappointed that Trader Joe's, off of Lovers Lane in Dallas, over Memorial Day weekend, went up over 20% on their breaded cod from 8.99 to 10.99. I could understand a slight increase, but over 20% is excessive!!

At check out, I was asked if I found everything, and I admitted I could not find the coconut slices in little packs. My check out person, told me she wanted to check the computer for availability, she came back saying a box of it arrived last night and offered to find it. I let her, as I really wanted the item. She located it on a pallet and brought it to checkout. I doubled my order of it and thanked her profusely. Now, I call that going the extra mile for a customer! I have always found the staff friendly, but this one was very caring of my need for coconut.

Nobody, absolutely nobody has flowers which last as long as TJs!!!!!!! I wish I could upload a picture of my Mother’s Dayt flowers after a week, THEY LOOK FRESH AS A DAISY STILL

Moved to a new neighborhood six months ago and the nearest grocery store turned out to be a Trader Joe's. Honestly lucked out. The frozen section is absurd in the best way Indian food, Thai curries, Italian pasta dishes, all actually decent and under $4. Keep a few in the freezer for nights when cooking isn't happening and they've saved me more times than I can count. The seasonal stuff is fun too, they rotate it enough that there's always something new to try. Staff are genuinely friendly, not in a trained corporate way, just normal people who seem fine to be there. Asked someone once where the tahini was, got walked there personally. Small thing but you notice it.
