Trade-In My Tech was easy to use, although I felt swindled when they dropped the price significantly after receiving the items because of specs. If there were factors that would have changed the price you offered, you should ask for those up front.

TradeInMyTech is a bit harsh in their grading of a product, so be careful there are no issues with your tech that could possibly warrant a “damaged” grade. This grade comes with the least amount of payback (despite any other highly-rated specs) and they will not ship it back for free if you decline their offer. Besides this, TradeInMyTech is responsive and quick to assess your item(s) and issue payment. Would use them again, with caution.

Trade in value was originally $175 with a working unit with some scratches and missing buttons - completely functional on software and touch screen side - evaluated using their form. Once physically reviewed, they offered me $15. Their evaluation form pricing is inaccurate and unacceptable once the review value was presented. I understand a profit needs to be made on their part, but this offer was in bad taste and deceptive. Very disappointed.

I sold my PS5 without a controller to this company (TradeInMyTech). The website (which was modified and changed after my order) incorrectly quoted me as if I was including a controller. I specifically made sure to not select the "Controller" tick box in the included accessories section. The layout of these boxes was changed days after I received my quote and sent in my PS5. I received an email claiming that the quote price had been changed for two reasons. The first was the quality was marked down from mint to good. They sent reasonably good quality photos and I agreed with their lowered assessment of the item. That's all good and fine. The second was "No Controller Included". Which is ridiculous because the quote in that very email exchange did NOT have a controller in the accessory section listed. Clearly I had chose to not include the controller. The email itself is proof! So after a few emails I could tell that the person I was writing to was adamant that they didn't do anything wrong. Instead they belittled me by saying that I was "confused" by the new layout of the accessories tick boxes on their website (which is aggravating because they clearly figured out the issue with the website and changed it). There was zero confusion. Their website misquoted me as if I was including a controller. This resulted in a $40 difference in the price of the item. It was an error on their website that caused this. I wasn't even arguing that it was malicious! I really think it was a bug. That website issue resulted in me not getting an accurate quote, being belittled as a "confused customer," and eventually giving up and being pressured into accepting the lower price (because it's just not worth $40 to have them ship it back and then resell on eBay or a different service). Beyond that issue they were reasonably quick at everything else. So I'd still give them a 2 out of 5 despite how frustrating it was. I will most likely never sell to them again and honestly, I'd take photos of your website experience and which tick boxes you choose so you can shove it into their face when they try to call you "confused" when they really want to call you a liar.

Didn't think Original packaging was a part of survey for value of item. Thought it was just of the equipment, that was being appraised.

I felt that the phone I sent, was in better condition than the one they renegotiated and low balled me with. They changed it from mint to good. $30 to $15

You dropped the price 50% because of a scuff mark on the box!! The box was exactly the same as I received it. This is a low ball tactic!

Hello I got a email saying the requote amount I said I accept never got update on the payment I did reply saying I accept already I have proof
