I’ve ordered from TOV before and have genuinely been happy with the quality for the price. Unfortunately, my latest order has been a completely different experience.
I ordered 3 pieces on September 8 after the website showed them as “In Stock” and a TOV sales representative confirmed over the phone that everything was in stock. Minutes after ordering, I received an email saying the items were actually backordered.
Since then, the dates have continued to move BACKWARD. My coffee table has now been pushed all the way to November, which means I’ll likely have to cancel it and order elsewhere. My console table was pushed 3+ weeks. My supposedly in-stock couch has been delayed. I specifically asked for the couch to be separated from the rest of the order and dispatched immediately, yet more than a week later the tracking still appears to show it sitting at the warehouse. Customer service is adamantly denying it's still there and they are "tracking down the carrier to confirm where it is." I personally think that is a lie to buy time.
So now, I’m potentially looking at 6+ weeks for furniture that was advertised and verbally confirmed as in stock, while one item has been pushed back by nearly two months.
If I had known that upfront, I would have ordered elsewhere. Their furniture may be worth it if you have plenty of time to wait, but if you’re furnishing on a timeline, beware.
So far, the only compensation I’ve been offered for the experience is a free tote bag.

Wrong color they delivered
Please think twice before buying from this company. They delivered the wrong sofa, and instead of fixing the problem, they tried to convince me to keep it with a discount. Their customer service has been extremely poor, and they are holding my money instead of processing my refund promptly. I have already wasted almost a month dealing with this issue. I have never experienced customer service like this. Very disappointing, and I do not recommend this company.
Response from TOV FurnitureSep 25, 2026
We’re very sorry you’ve been unhappy with your experience. When a customer receives an incorrect item, we may offer the option to keep it at a discount in case the item still works for their space, but there is absolutely no obligation to do so.
We completely understand that you would prefer to return the sofa. Once the item is picked up from your home, we will process your refund immediately. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused and appreciate your patience while we get this resolved.

TOV Furniture is a scam
> UPDATE: TOV’s response is almost as dishonest as the sales experience that prompted this review.
>
> Let’s correct the record.
>
> I purchased furniture that TOV advertised as IN STOCK. They took my money. Then, for more than 90 days, they repeatedly moved the delivery date while continuing to present each new date as though my order was actually going to ship.
>
> It never did.
>
> That is not simply “experiencing a delay,” as TOV would now like potential customers to believe. I was strung along for more than three months over merchandise they represented as in stock when they sold it to me. I finally canceled because there is a limit to how many meaningless delivery dates a company can provide before a customer realizes its promises are worthless.
>
> Their response gets worse.
>
> TOV publicly claims they called me. They did not. There was no call. If TOV wants to stand behind that statement, produce the call record. This should be very easy.
>
> They also claim they refunded the separate white-glove delivery charge. I never received that refund. Produce the transaction record showing the amount, date, and card credited. Again, very easy to prove if it actually happened.
>
> And changing the estimated delivery date after taking my money does not retroactively change the fact that TOV advertised the furniture as IN STOCK when I bought it. In my opinion, selling merchandise as in stock, taking payment, failing to deliver it for more than 90 days, and repeatedly dangling new delivery dates to keep a customer waiting is a deceptive sales practice.
>
> Then comes my favorite part: after all of this, TOV suggests I “give TOV another opportunity” by purchasing another in-stock item.
>
> You cannot make this up.
>
> The entire reason I am writing this review is because I already purchased an “in-stock” item from TOV. Apparently their solution to failing to deliver the first supposedly in-stock product is for me to hand them money for another one.
>
> Absolutely not.
>
> I have since seen TOV furniture in person, and I think the quality is shockingly cheap. The polished photography creates an impression the actual furniture does not remotely live up to. After seeing it firsthand, I am almost grateful the stools never arrived.
>
> TOV had my money for more than 90 days. They had supposedly “in-stock” merchandise. They supplied one delivery date after another. They delivered nothing. And now their public response contains a call that never occurred and a refund I never received while carefully reframing their failure to fulfill the order as my “choice” to cancel.
>
> I would never purchase from TOV again. Not after the nonexistent furniture, not after the nonexistent call, not after the refund they claim exists but I never received, and certainly not after seeing the quality of their products in person.
>
> If this response was intended to restore my confidence in TOV, it accomplished the exact opposite. It gave potential customers an excellent demonstration of why I wrote the review in the first place.
TOV Furniture has somehow confused being impossible to obtain with being exclusive.
I ordered stools in August after TOV assured me they would arrive in early November, specifically in time for me to host the holidays. November came and went. The holidays came and went. Then came six months of shifting dates, empty promises, and excuses. The stools never arrived.
I also paid separately for “white-glove delivery” on another credit card, which they refused to refund. No furniture. No delivery. Yet somehow they still felt entitled to keep the delivery fee. Absolutely shameless.
Customer service was atrocious. After months of failing to fulfill my order and repeatedly giving me information that proved false, they could barely be bothered. No urgency, no accountability, and certainly no concern that they had been holding a customer's money while delivering absolutely nothing.
And after all of that, I started noticing TOV chairs in restaurants and finally saw the quality in person. Cheap. Mass-produced. The online styling and photography are doing an enormous amount of work. This is not elevated furniture. IKEA deserves more respect because at least IKEA is honest about what it sells, prices accordingly, and can actually get it to your house.
Do not give TOV your money. The pretty photos are a facade for cheap furniture, disgraceful customer service, and a company perfectly comfortable stringing customers along for months. Believe the bad reviews. I wish I had. TOV deserves your distrust, not your business.
Response from TOV FurnitureSep 2, 2026
Hi Megan, We’re sorry that your experience left you feeling this way, but we do want to clarify a few important details.
Our records show that your order was placed in November directly with TOV Furniture and after experiencing a delay, you chose to cancel the order in January. Because the order was canceled prior to fulfillment, the stools were never delivered.
Upon cancellation, the full amount paid was refunded to the original forms of payment, including the separate white-glove delivery charge. We did not retain a delivery fee for a delivery that never took place.
We absolutely understand the frustration of an item being delayed beyond its original estimated arrival date, and we apologize that we were unable to fulfill your order within the timeframe you expected. However, we do want to clarify that the order was canceled in January and fully refunded at that time.
If you are ever open to giving TOV another opportunity, our team would be happy to help you select an in-stock item that is available for immediate fulfillment.

We ordered the same exact side table…and it didn't match
We ordered the same exact side table from TOV to expand our furniture collection.
Unfortunately, hidden in a bottom tab and not at all displayed in a way that would make them seem transparent with their clients, there is a disclaimer that says the measurements of the items can be 'up to two inches difference' which is ridiculous for when a vendor needs to add additional furniture to their existing inventory.

They send me wrong manufactured sofa…
They send me wrong manufactured sofa and they offer me 350$ to keep that as is.When I call them they told me that they can replace it for me.When I told them okay let’s replace it they told me that I have to pay for the delivery and put the wrong sofa back to downstairs.I already pay someone else to put that sofa there on the first place and I told them that I cannot pay again someone to move the wrong sofa back to downstairs and put the replacement sofa back downstairs. They told me that they cannot provide me anything bc of my inconvenience.Awful Aftercare team Lead(Her name was: Salena)She doesn’t want to help.I have 3 living room and all of them are from Tov furniture before this happen I loved Tov but after all that inconvience and they are not helping me and they are trying to get more money it’s a thievery. She told me that she cannot help me because I already accept that on terms and conditions.Awful and unprofessional also when I told her that I want to talk with someone further that her she keep me me different answers and she keep cutting my answer. When she finish talking I start taking and she kept cutting my sentence when I told her please don’t cut my sentence she told me ‘you were keep cutting my sentence’.Tov Furniture I have all the recording and evidence I can provide anything you want.I try to not write a bad review but she wanted that.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Received stools that were much too narrow for an Average person to fit in properly. My designer had said TOV takes full returns because that was her experience 6 months prior. Apparently they don’t any longer…they take 20% restocking fee, charge you for shipping and only provide store credit. Complete and utter rip off…they clearly can’t stand behind their products. Stay away!! While they made an exception for me after many emails and phone calls, they still charged $450 for a $1200 product. Extremely disappointed and I will make sure I provide this feedback to as many customers that are out their.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I was told the items were in stock, only to find out after placing my order that everything was on backorder. Then, on the scheduled delivery day, I was told the truck broke down and the next delivery wouldn’t be for another two weeks. Now, nearly three months after placing our order, we still haven’t received the items. At this point, I honestly have to ask: is this a scam?

Horrific customer service
Horrific customer service. Mariellea, who stated she was the manager, refused to take back my chair after I was previously told by a representative that the chair was out of stock and that I should purchase the same TOV chair from another retailer, with no need to return the original order.
After an unnecessarily long argument, despite the fact that the chairs had not even been delivered, she initially insisted that I would have to keep them. She eventually agreed to a return, but only with a 20% restocking fee plus shipping charges.
The entire experience was incredibly frustrating. Mariellea was rude, unhelpful, and showed no interest in resolving the issue fairly. I have purchased many items from TOV in the past, but after this experience, I will never order from them again. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received.
