Overall, a good service/product.

My wife and I have been using the Tovala meal service and Tovala cooker for about 2 years now. We like the meals because they help us with potion control and we don't have to decide what to cook for dinner. Most of the meals are 9.99 each, we could not go to the grocery and buy they stuff for that. We try to follow a low carb diet. Tovala has low carb options but the meals are limited and become repetitive very quickly. There are lots of choices, just not lots of low carb or low calorie options. That's the only reason I gave Tovala a 4. The meal quality is there no doubt.

Quality product, fairly good meals and prices. The biggest challenge is keeping track of when you will be billed for what. As a subscription service my guess is they do this to try and cover the cost of the subscription, but as food is a continuous need I would prefer they be open and transparent when they will be billing what as their prices are fair.

I have not started on the meals yet. I just joined again and I have not received my oven or meals yet.

I’m an old widower, and I don’t really cook, so TOVALA is a great alternative to going out for dinner for me.

Twice I have gotten the wrong protien

Instructions for cooking are very good. Packaging is overwhelming for disposal, if you have to walk far for disposal.

The seafood is very good; the beef dishes, less so. Getting tired of broccoli. The risotto is unusually good, and I know what I’m talking about. The couscous is good; the seasonings are good; the portions are a little too big. I would rather pay less and get less
