Total Wine & MoreReviews of totalwine.com

Ordered a gift of tequila and mixers for my brother and in 5 minutes they canceled the mixers with no option to cancel the order or change it. I would recommend literally any other service for similar occasions.

Trying to scam with the default option for pick-up. Stay away!

We have had several issues with Total Wine, including an automated order block (due to placing 3 orders in a short time period) that took months to resolve and multiple unpaid rebates. Neither of those is in itself a major issue, but Total Wine's customer service is absolutely abysmal. They fail to follow through on promised remedies and ghost the customer so often it's clear that it is established and accepted policy. If you enjoy being ripped off and treated poorly, continue to shop at Total Wine.

Very little supply ever on Wellers, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, etc. Upon asking the salesperson recommended a different brand, Old Emmer, saying it was a fine wheated whiskey comparable to Wellers. Doubtful I was, but fell for the pitch - $40. It's beyond awful. Tastes bad, doesn't finish well. Smells like raw alcohol. Turns out its a house brand! Do Not take their recommendations! Do your own research and stick to what you know is good. This was waaay overpriced.

Staff at the Natick MA store were rude and inappropriate. So much so that I will NEVER go there again. I submitted a post visit survey but never heard from anyone. Find another liquor store.

They wouldn't let us purchase HUNDREDS of dollars of liquor because one person in the party didn't have their ID and that person was not trying to buy any liquor. Also, that person was clearly over 60 years old. If the management wants to enforce such a harsh policy maybe they should put a big huge sign out front that says "absolutely EVERYONE must have their ID in order for anyone in your group to purchase liquor otherwise no one can purchase anything." That's the exactly what happened to us. You think that kind of treatment is good for your business? It only serves to make a seek out other businesses that provide similar services such as quarters and Kelly's and other liquor providers . Total Wine isn't so great that there aren't Alternatives that are equally as good or better . Good luck, you won't be seeing me again .... And I spend a lot of money on booze. By the way we went elsewhere in this town, purchased everything we needed and didn't even get asked for an ID.

Terrible customer service. Defective products that they sell, and they are of no help.

This review involves the PEARLAND, TX location, near the South Fwy (Hwy 288). I received a defective bottle of Solo Blanco. I did not know it at the time, until I picked it up off my back seat and saw a wet spot. I was on the way to the party with it (8/21/26), so I did not go right back. In fact, I didn't return it to the store until 9/5/26. I knew the passage of time might be a problem, but did not lie about this. However, the manager, Marian, clearly thought I was lying. She was barely cordial. Management expertise requires understanding. She has none, and I am SURE that if I had been of a "lighter hue" she would not have been as abrupt and suspicious. I will shop elsewhere next time. Dr. A
