Tamar Johnson with Total Tax was instrumental in saving us a huge mistake a few years ago when our previous Cpa firm incorrectly did our taxes, an issue related with a rental property. When professionals and personal efforts failed to resolve my tax issue, a state of frustration, vulnerability, and anxiety encompassed my life. I decided to search online in seeking qualified help. I called numerous advertised sites and quite honestly, most of them were reading a prepopulated script, until I spoke to Becky Eaton. She took me by surprise, when attentively, she listened to my unique set of circumstances. She did not promise me the Moon, neither the Sun, she simply said, we will investigate, evaluate your situation and plan a strategy to stop the collection process and help you get back on track with removing this monkey from your back. A bit apprehensive, I signed the contract with her and was awaiting for my file to be lost in the shuffle. This time the table had turned and Becky and her staff-member, Lorraine, gave my case their full attention. I had a levy placed against my checking account by the IRS. All of my disposable income was gone without notification from anyone. I found out after calling in for my balance that I went from several $1000 in my account to -$279 in the hole. After a google search, I decided to call Total Tax based on the reviews I read. All of those 5 Star Reviews are not bogus. I called Total Tax - a representative did a live chat immediately, asked me a few questions - within a few minutes Scott called me - 8:00 PM my time. After speaking with Scott, I had an email within minutes telling me the next steps I needed to take. I followed their instructions, and just as Scott said, the levy was lifted less than 48 hours. Scott said 24-48 hours - I did not get Scott the needed documents until noon the next day and by 1:00 the following day(24 hours) Scott had the Levy lifted. Scott kept me informed - he told me the first day that he would call with an update before he left the office - which he did. Total Tax / Scott, did what they said they would do. I now have the money in my checking account back / my disposable income back in two days. I am going to let them do my taxes for 2017, I am looking forward to the result - all of the stress has been relieved. Thank you Scott. Thank you Total Tax.
