Was a client of a Fort Myers agency for 7 years and insured with same company. I have a credit score of 850. I never missed a premium payment until February of this year when a series of health issues hospitalized me. As recovery and rehab was long I missed the premium due date by two weeks. The insurer deemed that the policy had lapsed and returned to me the annual premium check I sent to pay. The local agent was not supportive claimed the cancellation is required by State law when a policy lapsed. Local agent said she would shop for another insurer. And she did. The proposed policy had a premium of over $7,000 and no credit for wind mitigation. Neverless I expanded my search and Chelsa Cerge from Top Line found a policy with the same premium of my previous policy ($1,900) and with a higher replacement value. She was most responsive and I enjoyed working with her. As far as my old agent, by them trying to sell me what appears to be a sub-prime policy, my other business (auto, umbrella) will go elsewhere.

Long story but agent that signed me up with a new policy didn't communicate well during the process. Two months later I was finally able to get issue resolved by a customer service agent. He was awesome. Rob Winger I believe was his name. Empathetic, professional and followed through.

Were easy to work with and explained items I had questions about. Good price too!

The third party inspection company has canceled three previous appointments for my mom's home since the home policy commenced. I called the TOPLINE agent with whom I got the policy to assure these missed appointments did not reflect negatively against my moms policy. The agent said he would review and contact me if there is anything negative. I've not heard back, so assume all is well.
