Poor Establishment All Around
I have been a member of Tommy’s for about three years. When I lived in Hays, KS, Tommy’s was my only option for this type of car wash. However, now that I’m in Wichita, I’ve decided it’s time to take my business elsewhere. I had the $15/month WORKS membership for my 3/4-ton truck. Since I live on dirt roads, I always asked for the tire shine to be turned off, but it was only done about half the time. Additionally, every wash left soap and water in and on my mirrors. Once I pulled out of the wash, it would continue dripping down the sides of my truck for at least 10 miles, leaving streaks on what was supposed to be a freshly washed vehicle. I also had an issue with my account that couldn’t be resolved at the local store, so I was given Tommy’s corporate phone number. Getting in touch with someone was extremely difficult, and when I did get through, I received different answers from different representatives, with no clear resolution. After three years of membership and these repeated experiences, I’ve decided to move on to Club Carwash. I’m happy to pay a little more for better service, consistent results, and greater attention to detail. I understand that no car wash is perfect, but I expect the services I pay for to be performed consistently and customer concerns to be handled professionally. Unfortunately, Tommy’s has fallen short of those expectations.
