Multiple orders
We've used Tomedes' translating services for a web-based SaaS service twice. During our first time we requested a simple translation of strings in a JSON file to french. The translation turned out to be very accurate and grammatically correct according to multiple native french speakers. The only criticism was that you could see that the final text is a translation but I guess there's no way around it unless you have a native on your team. Durin this first time, a member of Tomedes team reached out to us via email to confirm everything ahead of starting on the order which was nice. The second time was a much bigger order. We requested a translation of a whole website that is hosting a SaaS platform. The files were mixed strings of JSON, PHP associative arrays and Javascript string operations. This time a member of the Tomedes team, Rexon, called us up to confirm that our order was correct and we even got a discount. He then proceeded to manage the project getting back to us on numerous occasions. During the 8 days that it took to finish the translation to 6 languages we've been contacted on several times by translators who wanted to make sure that the strings were being translated correctly. In the end, some translators messed up the programming code here and there (Javascript string operations turned out to be a hard nut to crack for some) but others aced everything. All in all we're happy with the results and would recommend Tomedes.
