Harrassment if you say NO to TM Express
I decided to go with another company to register my trademark and Chris would not take no for an answer. He rang we 6 times and pestering me to go with his company. This was harrassment. When I told him I went with someone else he started getting angry!!! What an nuisance!! I have news for you. This is a free country. People have a right to make choices. If We choose to go elsewhere ho not harrass with phone call after phone call every couple of weeks. Follow up you have done 6 times. I finally told him I would report him to the police. It was horrible, its like it was law for me to go and register with him and only his company.

Yasmeen, Not true! What most of our clients over the last 27 years appreciate and compliment us for good service, good follow up and expert advice - you instead flame us on TrustPilot. Your post is very misleading. It makes me very sad that you chose to write this. That is why I held off replying to you until now. I'd appreciate it, if you'd please remove, or update this post. This post damages our business when we did nothing wrong. I spent about 2 hours with you in answering all your questions, explaining the need to do comprehensive research, warning you of inexpensive trademark companies that just do quick and easy preliminary research, (that they KNOW they should do because they get so many refusals), then negligently file your trademark - with the hope to get a refusal, so they can sell you more services to fix their filing mistakes. Their practice is beyond negligent, it is FRAUD. In your case, where we did a multinational bid to trademark your clothing line for the USA, European EUIPO, China/Hong Kong, South Korea & Singapore - where you faced a 70% chance if being blocked, it became readily apparent all you cared about was price. What was a rush to trademark your clothing line when you first contacted us on Nov 21, turned into a revised bid adding Taiwan, more explanations about the need to do comprehensive research and the benefit of our unique step-by-step process that makes so much sense for trademarking in 33 countries for such a tough class as clothing no less. Finally, on Dec 14 on my 5th follow up since Nov 21, you said you had picked another way less expensive company. You hung up on me when I tried to explain it was a huge mistake to skip the NEEDED comprehensive research. I sent you a last follow up, with a link to the USPTO telling you the same thing. In that email, I offered again, as I said on the phone that we'd do a free analysis of the other trademark company's research. I gave you the parameters that just their USA research alone should be about 500 pages - again JUST for the USA. Soooo, 5 weeks later, on Jan 21, I took the trouble to check the USPTO to see if you had filed your trademark yet. You had not, as best as can be found. (I checked the USPTO today too, March 3rd, a full 6 weeks later, and found you still have not filed any trademark application.) Soooo, 5 weeks later, on Jan 21st, because WE CARE ABOUT OUR CLIENTS - I called you to see what had happened, to offer again our free analysis of the other company's research, the need to do a true comprehensive search BEFORE filing any trademark, before use of any trademark - even if you had actually already filed your mark. Instead of thanking me for caring about your trademark, or a heads up that the other company had not completed their work. - instead you became upset because I called you - despite it had being 5 weeks - and as a fellow business owner - why wouldn't we call you to help you, when we define ourselves in the mission to help all our clients, all our inquiries to the best of our ability - NOT the likelihood we may get an order. I know for a fact your chance of hiring us is single digits once you passed on our, (what I think is), great $500 off bid, and our $500 Challenge IF you find a better trademark company. I have way better/more things to do, than spend :15 reviewing your file again, checking the USPTO and then calling you to HELP YOU .vs the probability you'd actually hire us. IF you hadn't hung up on me, I was going to offer you DOUBLE our $500 off Challenge, IF you have found a better trademark company. That's $1000. I'll offer it here. I hope all this helps. I hope you see where we are coming from. Why people hire us, and stay with us for their future trademark work over the 27 years we have been in business. That you don't buy expert legal services solely on price. Again, I'd appreciate it, if you'd please remove, or update this post. I appeal to your sense of honor and fairness. Thank you, Chris 650-948-0530 PS: Here's the USPTO's advice, that I sent you in my first and last emails to you, that I pointed out to you to avoid inexpensive trademark companies, that skip the needed comprehensive IP trademark research: IF THE USPTO SAYS TO DO A COMPREHENSIVE IP RESEARCH - THEN WHY AREN'T YOU? What TradeMark Express Does to Help Avoid Potential Trademark Pitfalls THIS COPY IS DIRECTLY FROM THE USPTO - See: http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/basics/private_attorney.jsp "A private trademark attorney can help you before, during, and after the trademark application process, including policing and enforcing any trademark registration that may issue. While you are not required to have an attorney, an attorney may save you from future costly legal problems by conducting a comprehensive search of federal registrations, state registrations, and “common law” unregistered trademarks before you file your application. Comprehensive searches are important because other trademark owners may have protected legal rights in trademarks similar to yours that are not federally registered. Therefore, those trademarks will not appear in the USPTO's Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) database but could still ultimately prevent your use of your mark. In addition, trademark lawyers can help you during the application process with several things that could seriously impact your trademark rights, such as determining the best way to describe your goods and services and preparing responses to refusals to register that an examining attorney may issue. Finally, a private attorney can also assist in the policing and enforcement of your trademark rights. The USPTO only registers trademarks. You as the trademark owner are responsible for any enforcement."
