quick and efficient

Very shortly after I made Air Canada reservations to fly to Montreal, my business schedule changed endangering my plans. After researching flight insurance companies, I selected Tin Leg and very glad I did. It was very easy in selecting and paying for the right plan. Once I learned I could not fly to Montreal, I contacted Tin Leg and cancelled the flight and started the reimbursement process. Never having to make a claim before, there was a bit more documentation that I thought but Kelly at Tin Leg made the process very smooth. After a few glitches on my part, I received my full reimbursement and and am very glad I selected Tin Leg and Kelly.

Tin Leg was excellent to deal with. I've purchased several policies through them but never had to claim before. This time, we had to cancel our entire trip due to an accident I had that left me in a neck brace. The claim experience was straightforward, and the customer service was very responsive over email. There was a fair amount of documentation required, both medical and regarding amounts paid/refunded, but it was all reasonable. They were reasonably flexible when I was unable to obtain the exact documentation they requested for one lodging reservation. (They need proof that you didn't get a refund, a fair request, but difficult to obtain from this vendor, but ended up accepting what I was able to provide even though it wasn't exactly what they requested.) I received payment for everything I had claimed about 2 weeks after I got them the final documentation. Overall, highly recommended!

Price and coverage options are very good, as are the reviews. I have used other insurance options before through the Forbes site. But Tin Leg continues to offer the best value.
