Partial Ankylosaurus tooth
I don’t remember the exact date of delivery, but service and timing of delivery was great. From the site description, I knew the fossil would be tiny, and it was, but you could see the root on the half tooth well, and the authentication certificate explaining what it was made the gift special. The only thing I would say was that I was a bit disappointed with the presentation. It was a gift for my 11 year old grandson who is really interested in paleontology. Since the fossil is tiny and looks like a rock, I needed some way to enclose it with the certificate so that it wouldn’t just get “lost” when my grandson wanted to handle it. I solved my problem with a shadow box displaying the fossil case and the certificate together. If that could be a purchasing option, I’d certainly be for it!

Thanks for the helpful review, Sharla. Since we never know the intended end use for a purchase, it would be difficult for us to second-guess a different display method beyond the included display case that you received the tooth in. Some customers do not even want a display case, believe it or not even though we include one at not charge. We do have larger cases that could have accomplished what you ended up doing with the shadow box but again, we were not notified, and maybe it might also have been difficult for you to see the end result without first getting the order.
