Open communication established trust between myself and this company. They promised monthly updates and did that. They assured me that they coud helped me!l help me or refund my fees, they helped me! I no longer spend restless nights worried about how I was going to fix this. They did that for me!

Very seamless process

I want to share my personal experience with Timeshare Legal so that others can make fully informed decisions before working with this company. In August 2024, I signed a contract with Timeshare Legal to help cancel my timeshare. The service was financed through United Consumer Financial Services (UCFS), and I paid approximately $1,500 over several months while following all of their instructions. Throughout this process, I was required to mail letters to my resort myself, and there was no evidence that Timeshare Legal directly contacted the resort on my behalf. Despite repeated assurances that this process would resolve my timeshare issue, no resolution ever came, and my credit was significantly damaged due to being advised by Timeshare Legal staff to stop making payments to my timeshare company. They explicitly told me that my credit would not be affected, which turned out to be false. Eventually, Timeshare Legal admitted in writing that I was owed a refund of $2,299.50 due to incomplete services. The first release form they sent required me to fully pay off my UCFS loan before they would issue this refund. I refused to sign it because this condition was unreasonable and placed an unfair financial burden on me. Later, after they agreed to cancel my contract and relieve me from paying the remaining UCFS loan balance, they sent a second release form. This new release did not include a refund for the $1,500 I had already paid but instead included strict confidentiality and non-disparagement clauses intended to silence me permanently. I refused to sign this second release as well because I believe consumers have the right to know the truth. I could have continued making payments directly to my timeshare for the last nine months and protected my credit, but I followed their advice in good faith and suffered financial and emotional harm as a result. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, financial loss, and credit harm. I strongly encourage anyone considering Timeshare Legal to not only get every detail in writing but also have it carefully reviewed with a fine-tooth comb. Their refund policy — which was a major reason I agreed to work with them — is vague and heavily written in their favor. I am sharing this publicly because I believe consumers deserve transparency and the truth. I hope my story helps others avoid similar hardship. (August 2, 2024 - July 1, 2025) Natasha Ahmed
