I was referred to Timeshare Legal in 2023 by a friend, we had spoken with them over the phone and then had someone come to our house. After a just over a year, quicker than expected, we are timeshare free, I could not be happier that we went with Timeshare Legal over the other companies out there wanting to resale my timeshare for me for a “small fee.” Thanks to the timeshare legal team and we are out of our Wyndham contract as of December. It was a really long process and tested my patience at times but I could not be happier.

This is a WARNING to anyone considering using Timeshare Legal to get out of a timeshare contract. DON’T DO IT!!! THEY ARE A SCAM!!! It has been over 2 years now that I have been working with them. They are all full of promises and are also in my opinion they are liars. They have done nothing to help me with the exception that over the 2-year period they have written 5 letters on my behave. I was sent the letters by email and told to send them directly to Westgate and to not let Westgate know I was working with a timeshare exit company. All five have been basically the same letter over and over again and almost identical in every way to letters I had sent Westgate myself before hiring them. The only exception was one letter they wrote threatening Westgate with legal action. When I asked Michael, my representative with Timeshare Legal, if it was true that they have a lawyer that was getting involved he had to admit it was just a bluff that the timeshare companies sometimes fall for. I refused to send a letter that was not true. I was also told they were doing other things behind the scenes to help resolve my timeshare issue. I asked what else they would do besides send letters, I was told “We can’t tell you that, if we did everyone would open their own timeshare cancellation company.” Michael at one point told me that the real goal was to get Westgate to foreclose on the property and that I just needed to wait because they often did all the foreclosures at one time. At the 1 year point I started asking for my promised satisfaction money back guarantee. I was told every time I asked for the refund, which was many times between years 1 and 2 that I had to be patient and that I was not entitled to the refund yet. So if your goal is to give scammers $7,000 this is the way to go. If it is not your goal then stay very far away from this company.
