The web site is very helpful. When ordering my supports I was able to customize the plates I needed. I do wish I had done a better job at that. I am using 4x8 and 4x6 rough cedar and ordered my brackets accordingly. I should have measured my beams because they varied in thickness with some at 3_ 3/4" to 3_ 7/8. I also had some variance with my 6" beams. I appreciate being able to customize the brackets as needed. I will pay better attention to my beams next time and order the perfect fit. As it was, I had to make some shims. The brackets were of excellent quality and were powder coated as requested. I also received my order within a week of ordering. I have purchased timber frame brackets from different manufactures before. I find these of better quality and are more reasonably priced. Way better than Simpson or Ozco. If you are ordering, make sure and measure your beam size and take advantage of their customization.

I worked with Jake and Laurel to develop a turnbuckle system infill concept for a custom OSHA bridge railing. They provided 3D renderings of the turnbuckle/railing system for presentation to the client, as well as physical samples. As design changes happened they were very knowledgeable of the system, offered solutions to key design issues, and provided updated, rendered drawings very quickly. Everyone was great to work with!
