Classic bait & switch We were sold an idea that, if true, would've been amazing- optimizing online presence, 'seamless integration' with accounting software, etc. Instead, this platform has been glitchy, the 'integration' was ~95% which was a nightmare for accounting. Glitched contacts on my Iphone so I now have up to 30 entries of the same person. If you want to talk to customer service, be prepared to spend hours onhold. I finally cancelled my Thryv last month, but when my email stopped working, I had to circle back and found out they hadn't fully released my site, so their hosting was still in place. I've been on hold an hour so far and thought I'd take the time to write this review. The concept, if it worked- would be awesome, in reality- it's a nightmare.

What a complete waste of money. They charge your card monthly and provide no services. Try to cancel and they are still charging me. The regional sales manager James Harmon does not return phone calls or text. Don’t sign up with this company! You will end up having to cancel your credit card once you are sick of being charged, being ignored and quite frankly being stolen from. Shame on you Thryv and your horrible business model.

Terrible business model. Fraudulent billing; they continued to bill for more than a year after request for cancellation and numerous requests for cancellation. Had to finally cancel the credit card they were billing to make it stop!

Never did what they said they were going to do. Constant account manager turnover. Got a huge refund and decided to give them another shot, they blew it again. Posts to social media were garbage. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

The previous owner of my business used thryv for yelp review management and yellowpages advertisements. The yelp reviews were never reconciled and there was little to no yellow pages advertising. I decided not to pick up the advertising. Thryv has been trying to reach out and collect the debt owed by the previous owner from me, which is an illegal practice. In addition to that yelp allows users to post factually inaccurate information regarding their experiences with a company. My most recent review contains pricing that the customer never paid or was overly exaggerated. When reaching out to yelp they said "we don't take sides". This is why nobody cares what yelp has to say. It's essentially a sounding board for entitled customers who need to be validated by complaining. Glad I didn't pick up the service, but if they leave me another bill I'll be reaching out to the attorney general regarding their debt collection practices.

My Company has used Thryv for over 8years, as far back as when they were YP. Most if it works ok. But they are so big now that they dont do much of anything well. And ThryvPay is an absolute and complete Joke! Find another payment processor. They never win disputes and they will give you advise that will land you out of business or worst. No one knows what is happening with the accounts at any one given time. We spend more time emailing and calling ThryvPay then we do speaking with customers... Its a mess over there. And the Supervisor for the ThryvPay is useless. He know less than the staff he manages. 5 people run the support of the entire company of thousands of accounts... and only one knows what he's doing - Ask for Ryan... he is the only one there that has a shread of sense.

Ever since we have had thryve we have been scammed over and over. From people taking money out of the credit card used on file to bad checks being written. They are just putting your business all over the internet but not in a good way! Don’t use them!
