I paid for this service signed up when i wanted to cancel they just keep stringing me along they never cancelled i didn't use the platform and they keep charging me and calling saying I am going to collections even after I spoke with the representative who signed me up Kerry and explained to him why this service did not work for me and no longer wanted it he was supposed to have submitted my cancellation request but obviously never did and he does not answer his phone. it has been a headache trying to cancel once you sign up they charge you hundreds of dollars for something I never used. I just feel stuck and never should have tried this i do not recommend their services

I reached out to a local rep who I knew and trusted her to set me up with the service I needed. I am a small real estate investor who only needs to pull leads from the internet and the most important thing for me was to generate traffic and collect leads. They sold me on this whole dashboard that included scheduling, and a whole bunch of extra stuff that they thought I needed. When in fact all I needed was their small website package and SEO. The problem was I was with them for 6 months at this hyper inflated price for all of this stuff I didn't need. I could have used that extra money and applied it to their SEO and generated real traffic with a company that I should have been able to trust. In the end all they did was soak up useable funds for a dead website. The bad part is that the website I had build myself had more traffic than the one they provided. And one last ditch effort for them to catch a dollar. I told them months in advance that I was no longer interested in their service but they made me take a call with someone which by the time I could get with her to chat they were going to charge me for a whole extra month. Stay away from this company at all costs and use someone reputable. The back of house on my website didn't have any work done at all.

I hired Thryv to grow my detailing business. They promised a high-ranking website, increased visibility, social media growth, and new leads. What I got: a broken website that doesn’t show up on Google, copy/paste social posts that got 0 likes, no new customers, and no ads ever launched. I complained on every call that nothing was working. Their “solution”? Try to upsell me a more expensive plan and charge a second onboarding fee I’d already paid. When I asked for a refund and proof they’d fix it, they ignored me. I’m now filing with the BBB, FTC, and Kansas Attorney General, and preparing a lawsuit for $180,000 in lost business. Save your time and money. Do not trust Thryv with your business.

I feel ripped off, we signed up for a 6 month contract with the promise of heaps of leads and we were under the impression that when the contract ended if we weren't happy with the service and results we could cancel the contract and we would be able to host the website else where, the rep didnt seem to know whether that was the case and would let us know, he never did and we found out at the end after the 6 mths that this wasn't the case. anyway have only had 1 referral come from the website in almost a year. I was told by one of the phone people that the website wasnt optimised for the purpose and got conflicting messages during the 6 mnths. was on hold numerous times. what a terrible company. wouldnt even give them 1 star tbh. stair clear of these guys. they are theives. Also waiting on the phone for ages when I wanted to cancel. Theyre not at all helpful when wanting to use my domain name elsewhere.

Why did you change the name of your company? absolutely idiots when will you learn this is not acceptable. Just because some highly paid person comes up with this idea, not cool

Empty promises, deceitful, unable to provide facts when questioned, the sales rep hid behind "we can't tell you what leads we generate as it's a breach of the ACCC" when trying to advise me how they have 4.3million views per month on yellow pages. When I tried to drill down information on key word searches that effect my business and in the areas my business is in I was met with "it's a breach of ACCC to provide that" basically meaning they couldn't tell me how many times a certain word was searched in their own listing's... then wanting $308 a month with no trial period, lock in contract for 6 months and more money for additional suburbs. Crazy! Make informed choices. Any company unable to provide basic data on how they can assist you with searches in your business area of your business type... are just waiting your money. This is one of them. Your better off giving $400 away for free to customers walking past your business in the street. More likely to have return business. Don't be fooled either as all social media content and work is still required by you. The AI they use can be done by free with chat gpt. Don't be lazy.

I wish I read these reviews before I got into a 6 month contact, even though they are good at explaining things, I'm definitely un happy with this program, as i am only starting out a new company i really was expecting at least 1 or 2 leads, but i got nothing, I have now been 3 to 4 months in on this contract and i feel Im wasting my money with not even a phone call, i now things take time but seriously. I have explained this to my accounts manager at Thryv and his explanation was to up sell more products, obviously his doing his job but its not helping. To be honest im not really worried about investing money if i get some sort of return, but im still waiting for a miracle, Luckily I am getting other leads off other platforms to pay for Thryv. I wish I read reviews earlier before jumping this program and a locked in contract, because i would never have done this. I feel yellow pages is just outdated and there is other cheaper programs out there that doesn't hurt your pocket.

Thryv is a decent software if you have a small business (less than 500k per year) and you don’t want much reporting. But be careful because they don’t let you demo it yourself, you can only do it through a zoom meeting with a sales guy and then they make you sign a 6 month minimum contract that you can not cancel if you get into the software and realize that it won’t work for you. They also sold me on an add on that had just launched and they told me that it would be free for 3 months and at that time I could cancel if I didn’t want it. We’ll the 3 months is past and they won’t cancel it so I am paying for a software and add on that I’m not using and there not about to end it until my 6 months contract is ended.
