I called customer service and the woman on the phone was completely rude, talked over me, wouldn’t tell me her name, then hung the phone up on me.
I’ve never had such an unprofessional experience with a company before and I’ll be reviewing this online and letting people know how you conduct business.

Had a bad reaction to Thyrocsin
Had a bad reaction to Thyrocsin. I’ve submitted my bad *warning* review for others and they refuse to post it among their glowing reviews. I will never purchase another product from them again. False advertising!

Worst customer service
Signed up to a multi subscription offer with a spend of nearly $300 a month. Delivered month 1 fine, second month one of the supplements is missing and when i asked them to ship it they charged me a whole extra month for all of the products not just the missing one! Apparently I can’t request they remedy their error and ship the missing product?! All calls and chats and emails now not even being responded to and it’s been a week of no responses, which is appalling customer service. AVOID BUYING THORNE PRODUCTS FROM THORNE! Great products, trash customer service and responsiveness. 👎🏻

rude senior staff
some of the senior staff are very rude, argue with customers, who point out they were stood chatting in an aisle instead of getting on a checkout when called, it was well over 5 mins before she appeared.
how arguing with customers is good customer service I'll never know, but when she had the pizza shop she was just as rude.

Your Thorne Basic Prenatal contains an…
Your Thorne Basic Prenatal contains an UNSAFE amount of vitamin B12. It has caused me to accumumate blood B12 levels of 1228 ng/L whereas the safe, healthy range is 197-771 ng/L, and also skin allergic rashes in 2 places on my body, never having had an allergic reaction to B12/cobalt at all before. You should not be selling a supplement with that level of any specific nutrient. Now I'm stuck with multiple sealed unopened bottles I cannot take or use at all. Disgraceful!!!!!!!

I started buying from Thorne years ago…
I started buying from Thorne years ago because they seemed to be a trustworthy company with trustworthy products. My recent experience with customer support has me questioning that.
On July 11th, two of my subscription orders were initiated. Due to timing concerns, I called Thorne to request a cancellation. As soon as I mentioned the word "cancel" the woman on the phone immediately sighed, as if annoyed that she had to deal with me at all.
At this time (just hours after the orders were placed) both of the orders said "processing". She told me that one of them had been canceled and then tried to wrap up the call. I reminded her that I wanted to cancel both orders and she told me that the second one had already shipped. I suspected this was not true, but didn't question it. Days later my debit card was charged for both orders and I received a notification from FedEx that they were shipped.
I called back again asking them to cancel my order again. I was told that they would cancel the shipment for the one order that I canceled days earlier, and once it is returned to their facility, they will refund my card.
After a couple weeks, I called back to check on the status of the returned package. I was told that the package was delivered to my house and no refund could be issued. I informed them that I did not receive any product and was told that they would send my case along to their supervisor, who would email me the next day.
I received no email the following day and sent them an email asking for a status update. A day later I found the original FedEx shipment notification with the tracking number for my order, and found that it had been returned to them nearly three weeks prior.
At this point, I had been lied to by customer service at least twice. I sent them a screenshot of the tracking page showing that the package was returned and received no response. For the following four days, I called every day, each time receiving a different excuse as to why they couldn't help me, but receiving their assurance that somebody would reach out to me tomorrow (which never happened). I finally received a refund today (8/17) more than a month after I initially requested it.
Their products may be of decent quality (which even I am doubting after years of loyal support and thousands of dollars in purchases from this company) but their customer support team is among the worst I have ever experienced. Knowingly or not, they will lie, deflect, and do anything in their power to not issue you a refund for their own mistake. I suspect Throne may have some sort of policy that rewards/punishes their employees based on the number of returns that they issue, as almost everybody that I interacted with attempted to pass me off to somebody else.
