Started using this company 3 weeks ago. No mention made of 7 day cancellation period 1st Monday milk wasn't delivered until afternoon 1st Thursday item missing from delivery 3rd Thursday- no delivery. I am someone who is completely reliant on others for supplies and felt i had to make other arrangements. I called to make a cancellation and was assured that no further deliveries.would be made. Again there was no mention of cancellation period. The next delivery day I received 2 pints of milk. When I called I was told by an extremely brusque and unpleasant woman that there was a 7 day cancellation period. Getting through to this company by phone has occupied well over an hour of my time.

If I could leave Thomson Dairies zero stars - I would. This company falsely advertised that they could deliver milk to my area. On the advise that they could deliver milk to my area a direct debit was set up. I then recieved an email advising that they could not deliver to my area but would place me on a waiting list for when they started deliveries to my area. I immediately sent an email to Thomson Dairies advising that I did not wish to be placed in a waiting list and to destroy my banking details. I have sent numerous emails to Thompsons Dairies (All unmanned due to the covid 19 pandemic). I can not get through to them by phone. I then sent them a private message on Facebook and left a comment also explaining the situation and asking for someone to respond to me. My comment was promptly deleted and I was blocked from leaving any comments, sending a message or leaving a review. Childish pathetic behaviour. If you can delete my comment and block me you can respond to my email or pick up a phone. My advise to anyone thinking about setting up an order with Thomson Dairies is to go elsewhere like I have. Do not give them your bank details once they have a direct debit set up there will be zero Communication. Looking at the other one star reviews I can see that unfortunately I am not alone.

Thomson man came to door selling milk etc delivery. We are struggling to shop just now ,health problems, ,so this service a good idea. Checked credentials of man at door by phoning Shotts then gave order for eggs and milk etc. Bought box with lid.for avoiding magpies pecking. Came the promised day for delivery. Nothing. Phoned local depot. No answers. Phone Shotts and lady said someone would phone us. Still waiting. Waste of our time and money. Pathetic. Wish I never answered door. Have had a reply to our review from Thomson's saying their phones were the cause of our complaint not being dealt with. They did nod read our review! Nothing wrong with their phones. The Lady we spoke to did not phone us back as promised. Or anyone else. Silence.

I had a photocopied Hand written note stuck through my door. Talking about milk in glass bottles delivered to my door and milk from local farmers. When I was asked for my bank account details etc over the phone I baulked. Upon some research I’ve found that the company is in the central belt, which is not ‘local’ to me in Aberdeen and yes they ask for bank details. I’m all for supporting the local farmers and using less plastic (although the gentleman on the phone let slip that either full or semi, can’t remember, comes in plastic) But my details to a complete stranger and not so local produce? I don’t think so! My bank says to avoid transactions this this like the plague. Beware!
