Think Energy please save us from being knocked down by asking your driver of vehicle no NX15BBK to move his van. The van is parked on a pavement on Faifley Road, blocking access to 37 Fullers Gate and blocking our views from oncoming traffic when crossing the road. He should NEVER pack there again.
This your driver doesn't live in our close and he is putting our lives at risk. We could be potentially knocked down by traffic while crossing the road.
It's a bend, we're unable to see oncoming vehicles, moreover its illegal to pack on pavements. I had called your office to advise him to remove the van but he hadn't done that.

Hello. There are no Think Energy vehicles in existence. We are a home electricity supply company. If you take a picture of this vehicle, we would like to see if there is another company using our trademark. Thank you.

I signed up with Think energy 3 months…
I signed up with Think energy 3 months ago, paid my first months bill and signed up for auto pay. I leave out of town for a few days and come home at night to a dark house. Think energy has shut of my electricity for non-payment. It is too late to call someone so I go online and see that the auto pay did not pay my bill and that I have one bill overdue and one that is due in 5 days. I pay my bill online and my service comes back on about 4 hours later. I figure something happened to the auto pay and surely they must have sent me a shut off notice that I somehow missed. NOPE. No shut off notice, just the two bills. With an 800 credit score you would "think" (no pun intended) that they would have at least given me the courtesy of a shutoff notice. Instead I have lost about $300 worth of food in my freezer that was lost. I will be promptly changing service and WILL NOT be paying any type of early disconnect fee. Willing to loose a few points on my credit score for these scum bags.

Hi Gregg,
Thank you for providing us with that valuable feedback. We have reviewed your account, and our system shows that a disconnect letter was sent out to you on October 8th, 2019, notifying you that if payment for the outstanding balance was not received by the date of October 18th, 2019, your account could be subject to service disconnection. The letter was sent out to the mailing address that we have on file for you, and in addition an SMS message reminding you of the past due status was sent on October 14th, 2019. We also show that auto pay is not set up on your account, as that is something you would have to enable via your online account. Since you do have a valid contract with us, if you decided to switch away, you would be subject to an Early Termination Fee. Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. We pay our bills through online bill pay with our bank. We paid our bill on time, received a confirmation # and a check # from our bank saying that payment had been sent. It was taking a long time to clear our account; I assumed because we had just switched to Think Energy. I received a notice in the mail from Think telling me my payment was late and they would shut off my electricity the following Monday (a week later) if they didn't receive payment. I called Think Energy and explained the situation. The rep was rude, unhelpful, and uncaring. I mailed a check that day (didn't trust bill pay). Apparently it didn't get processed in time and my electricity was disconnected 7 days after I received the letter. I plan on paying an early termination fee and switching companies immediately.

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for your valuable feedback. We show that your payment was originally initiated using your bank’s online bill pay system, and you found that it was not sent to the correct address, causing Think Energy to not receive the payment. After your statement was already past due, you mailed in another check. Our records indicate that at the time of your disconnect the payment you mailed had not yet been received. We send a notice informing customers with past due balances that payments should be made either online or through a payment IVR to avoid payments being received after the disconnect date. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Bad customer service and not honest…
Bad customer service and not honest about their rates! Stay away from this company!! They are not honest.
Response from Think EnergyAug 27, 2019
Hi Phil,
We strive to be transparent with our customers by notifying them about changes to their service. After reviewing your account, we found that your contract expired. We sent you a renewal notice and contacted you via phone about your renewal options. We also provide ways for customers to renew themselves online. Since you never selected a renewal plan, your account went onto a variable rate which has the ability to change monthly. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
The Think Energy Team

Absolute terrible customer support
Absolute terrible customer support. 3 year long term customer. Had 1 bounced payment because I had financial hardship but then had money in the account that next day to pay them once I got paid.
I thought autopay was setup to charge until I got a letter inthe mail stating I hadn't paid yet. I go online and it says its not due till the 8th of August.
My power was cutoff last night and had no way to contact them. My fridge spoiled and lost tons of money on food. I got ahold of customer support the next morning and the manager said it was my fault. I should have called them if I was confused. After three years of on time payments they treated me like garbage and told me I had to take off work, go 20 miles to an Ace location, give them cash, tell them its for think energy, and then they will turnit back on.
I asked the manager if he could help me out given the circumstances and he told me that since there was one other late payment, that I wasn't aware of, back in January of 2017 he couldn't help me.
I cancelled my account and recommend to anyone looking to signup to look somewhere else. This company treats long term customers like absolute garbage with no empathy.

Hi Kyle,
We value our customers' feedback. Because this was not a one-time occurrence for your account, we recommend notifying your supplier if you need assistance, or are unable to pay your bill by the due date to avoid disconnection. We hope this information helps.
Thank you,
The Think Energy Team

I am currently out of town and…
I am currently out of town and “thought” I was on the auto pay for my electricity bills. However, the person watching my house called to tell me that power was out. I never received a past due notice or a phone call indicating that my power was about to be shut off. There is no way to contact Think Energy in an event that this happens on the weekend. For something as important as power to your house, one would think they would have a 24/7 emergency contact number. I could not be more disappointed with this customer service. Not to mention that they are unable to have multiple accounts under 1 email address. It’s truly disappointing.
Response from Think EnergyAug 15, 2019
Hi John,
Thanks for your valuable feedback. We see that you received the disconnect notices via mail, but we understand you were out of town at the time. We are in the process of implementing e-notifications for situations like this. We have great news, customers now have the ability to link multiple accounts using one email address in our online portal. We will have a representative reach out to assist with linking your accounts to your preferred email address.
Sincerely,
The Think Energy Team

Deserving of no stars
If I could leave no stars, I would. We told this company our last day in the house (the day we were moving everything out and cleaning for the new owners) and instead of shutting our service off the next day, or even that night, they shut it off at 9am. WTH?? It’s now over 80 degrees at only an hour and half off and we are still trying to move stuff out, we cannot vacuum and clean for the new owners, and its dark! Can’t see in some of the rooms we still have to pack up. We have 5 little children too! We’ve been on the phone for an hour and half trying to get them to fix their mistake only to be told we would not be able to get service back on until end-of-day and we have to pay to have service back on AND keep it on (and pay for it) for 3-days. Stay far far away from this company!!!
Response from Think EnergyJul 8, 2019
Hi Amy,
Our agents must get consent from a customer by requiring a clear yes or no response to certain questions before processing a move-out. A customer must acknowledge that they understand that by processing a move-out, that they are requesting for the power to be shut off at the specified location. A customer must also state they understand that Think Energy cannot confirm what time the power will be turned off before our agents can process the request. We reviewed the call and the proper consent was given to order the move-out. We value our customers' concerns and are always looking for ways to improve.
Sincerely,
The Think Energy Team

Unusable website if you have 2 meters
Unusable website if you have 2 meters (my home has a detached garage, so we have 2 meters). Think IT (Management) has determined that their customers can only sign in by a single email address. Instead of letting a customer choose a user ID, they force you to use a single email address per account. They want me to create an email address just so I can register 1 of my meters. It's an IT/Customer Service issue. It's not that hard. Many other energy providers are set up to accommodate user IDs. I will use one of them in the near future.
Response from Think EnergyFeb 28, 2019
Hi Lisa, we value our customers’ concerns. We are working on improving that function that seems to affect customers with multiple meters at their house. To clarify, it is not a Think IT Management decision or an IT/Customer Service issue. Rather it’s a limitation from the third-party platform we use. We hope to have the issue fixed by the second half of this year.
