Salesperson who came to door kept insisting that I show my bill for electric and gas because "there were complaints from people that they were being charged too much" I asked if he was with the gas oe electric company and ge said no, but couldnt say who sent him. Its a scam to get you to switch providers. I told him I had alreafy switched to a different supplier recently, and didnt want to change. He then said someone would come to my door everyday until I wad crossed off the list. This is harassment. I am calling the borough office, police, and tv news tomorrow.

Very pushy sales rep asking to see all my bills and then proceeding to try and get me signed up for a new plan... never explained anything and when I asked questions to the rep on the phone they said they would have to hang up because I was asking questions... at which point the sales rep at my door got belligerent because I didn't just say yes to everything and was asking questions... looking at the other reviews I'm glad I did ask questions and that they did hang up... terrible people, seem very shady and apparently don't want you to ask to any questions about them or there services. Don't trust

The door sales man came knocking asking me if I had received my energy refund check, then he told me that I was suppose to update my provider and that's why I haven't received my refund check. I told him there is no soliciting, and painted at the sign on my door and he still lied and said he wasn't doing this that he worked for my gas and light company with the most current provider. I told him no thank you and he insisted for me to bring out my bills to show him. I do t know how stupid they think everyone is bull this company is only out to scam you into signing with them. I will cal the police if I see them in my neighborhood again.

So the sales rep came knocking and gave us the whole "you're electric bill is about to go up" speal, so I began to buy into it and sign up. Then, he asks me for a cigarette (I don't smoke) and began to tell me about his heroin addiction that he 'kicked'. I immediately cancelled the service as soon as I got a welcome email. I'm writing this 2 months after the experience, because the SAME sales rep just came to my door promoting a different energy company. I kindly told him I wasn't interested. This is a scam. Don't buy into it.

Worst ever!!!!!! I have been with them for 2 years never had a payment arrangement or extension and I called to ask for an extension due to the hurricane and they told me that i don't qualify for an extension at this time. Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worse ever. When the guy came to the door to sell me his company your bill is too high. Will never be over 100.00. Damn bill doubled. Freaking scam. Cancelled their service today. Don't get them

The man who came to the door was nearly rude saying "I don't want to be here either". He represented himself as working with Pepco, not in competition. He asked to see my bill -- little lightbulb went on. He asked to come inside, I said no. I pretended I couldn't get into my account, then I pretended to call for help and told him they were backed up, which they were, coping with storm damage from the day before. I asked for a card; was not given one, he said somebody else would come by. When he had gone I called Pepco and found out I was right, this was basically door to door sales by a company with no connection to Pepco. So I put a sign on my door saying "no door to door sales, Energy co.s this includes you." Lying is a very bad way of saying hello. TIP for those who want your review to stick, see if you can PDF the page once your review goes up. There will be a date/time stamp on it and if you check back later and your review is gone, you can add that it was deleted w/out your permission probably, as one other person pointed out, by "Think Energy." Just a hint. I'd give this company ZERO stars if I could.

The representative sent to my house was very unprofessional. He was very large and I felt intimidated. He came in my apartment and blocked the door as he gave me his pitch, in his unzipped jeans and sandals. I was extremely uncomfortable and told him what he wanted to hear in order for him to leave. When a customer service representative called to confirm my enrollment, I explained the situation and how I felt intimidated, and that I did not want to be enrolled, the customer service agent said they would investigate the salesperson and that was it. Turns out that I was still enrolled and that my electric bill doubled as a result. I called today to resolve the issue, which I was told would be handled by corporate, and was given a representative's contact information. Hopefully the money I was charged will be returned to me. I guess if it's not resolved soon, I will have to contact the BBB.
