Rough start but awesome ending!
**UPDATE 2** : Received the replacement rod today, and it cam in a much better condition than the first one. The support was awesome allowing me to keep both rods due to the mixup. I appreciate y’all standing behind your product. TIGHTLINES!!! **UPDATE** : Received a phone call from a customer support rep offering really nice options to make this first experience better. Will update again once everything is done. I was sent a rod that has clearly been used before. When opening the package the rod case was not wrapped in any plastic, there were way to many scuffs and marks on it, and the colors were fading as if it was left out in the rain and sun. I had to wait to use the rod because my reel I was planning on using didn’t arrive yet, but when I received the reel and went to set it all up I noticed that the paint was chipping off of the larger ferrules, a sticky residue is on the top side of the rod on multiple pieces of the rod, where the rod meets the cork it is loose, and the guide dots (when lined up) did not line up the ferrules correctly. I am highly disappointed in the quality of this rod, for $249 I expected a lot more... I will be returning this product.
