Train with intent
Where do I start... VSA is a great place to reignite your passion & motivation, but also to teach you things you have never known when it comes to health and fitness. My experience with VSA & the coaches is well worth the investment. In the short 3 months I was with the team, I got access to in-depth knowledge, a support system and a whole new community of like-minded individuals. The best part about being part of the VSA program is it is designed around your goals and you as a person. It is not a general cookie cutter workout plan and meal plan. The coaches take the time to check in with you, make adjustments immediately to your plan if it doesn't fit or if you feel it is not working. Even if you want a bit more variation in your program, hit them up and they will change some things for you. For me I learnt a lot when it came to the nutrition and structuring of nutrition around your goals and training. I have been vegan for almost 4 years, but never knew how to fuel my body correctly to train. Now I know how to fuel my body, so I am able to perform on a higher level, my recovery time has been reduced drastically and I feel full of energy & I am re-motivated when it comes to my fitness. The other aspect of the VSA program that helped a lot was the weekly check ins with my coach, it really helped with the mental aspects of everything. Being able to have someone understand the stresses you are going through, listen to you and understand the struggles. You also know that the coaches are just as invested in your progress as you are. This is an investment for yourself, a healthier, stronger physically and mentally version of you. The motivation from the coaches also help to keep you invigorated and knowing that they are personally watching also helps to keep you accountable. My fitness has improved greatly since starting and finishing my program, the greatest thing I will take away from Coach Leif is to Train with Intent!
