I can only be grateful for booking that breakthrough call! When I first started with VSA, I was really struggling with my mental health (mostly a ton of anxiety) and things were quite unstable due to COVID-19, so I was worried I couldn’t achieve my goals and be up for what VSA had to offer. However, I quickly realized I wasn’t alone on that journey, the support was always there and it was only a matter of pushing forward. The weekly coaching calls with Coach Anders (occasionally Coach Leif) and then with Coach Laura helped me keep pushing forward and keep my head above water.
I had previous experience with a (non-vegan) personal fitness coach, but I was looking for more than the fitness aspect and VSA has it all! Not only did I learn so much more about fitness, I learned how it all comes together with (vegan) nutrition and mindset. Plus, I wanted to learn more about a sustainable vegan diet, and they had all the answers. Additionally, I realized that it helped me know more about myself, which was quite unexpected!
The weekly coaching calls, the online Academy, the masterclasses and the FB community was an amazing combination to make this journey so special and worth it. Plus, the coaches put together customized trainings and nutrition plans to fit any need. I really appreciate the fact that the workouts can be done anywhere, for me it was at home or at the gym. I can’t thank the coaches enough for the amazing experience. They are all such wonderful human beings and they truly care about everyone in VSA.
I highly recommend The Vegan Superhero Academy to anyone who wishes to transform the way they work out, eat and live, while being guided throughout the process by strong, driven, knowledgeable and incredible coaches. This is definitely a great investment in yourself, your health and your mindset!

Incredible experience!
I’ve tried just about everything when it come to exercising - spin, orange theory, ocr, body building, CrossFit, etc. I had run marathons, Spartans, and tough mudders. I even did the Hyrox last year. I had been eating what I thought was “clean” for years, and while I felt physically fit, I never thought I looked the part.
I had dabbled into the idea of going vegan for the health benefits, but didn’t want to do it without guidance. I saw an ad on Facebook, signed up for a couple preliminary calls, and I was hooked. The energy and confidence presented in those initial calls was fantastic.
Over the course of the program, my incredible coach Ashley taught me more than I ever imagined. I learned how to measure and track my food. I learned that I was really exercising too much instead of focusing on quality, and I learned more about how my body functions. By the end of the 90 days, I dropped over 20 lbs of body fat and actually entered a bulking cycle. While I technically could have ended things there, I valued everything from VSA so much that I actually signed up for an additional 90 days.
In addition to everything I get from Ashley, the modules and online community are an amazing resource. Everyone is supportive while going through their own transitions. Each person’s experience is unique, but at the same time we’re going through it together.
I’m so grateful for this positive change in my life.

Laura is da BOMB and VSA is life changing.
I loved working with VSA! This was a life changing experience. The modules, the education, and the tools you learn to use a vegan diet to get vegan gains is phenomenal. The BEST part about VSA is the coaching. Laura is AmAzInG! The daily contact and checking in was so helpful. I have dieted down in the past, competed in bodybuilding under super unhealthy circumstances, gained everything back, dealt with numerous health issues, and finally had someone who could walk with me through the little tweaks that were needed to get my body to a place it would finally lose the weight. I feel like this is the time it will stick. The answers are there and she taught me so much, I am forever grateful to her. The Facebook group is wonderful as well. The caring and support from others going through the same journey feels like family. I was so sad to have to leave the group. The community feeling of others pushing to make progress and achieve their goals is such great fuel to your own fire. Choosing VSA changed everything for me.

Get Excited Again
Without realizing it, I started to become complacent-something that would have horrified me as a youngster. I was making excuses for not following through with my fitness goals. Excuses such as “I’m older and my body doesn’t bounce back like it used to. “ Or “I have too much going on so I don’t have the time.” I also started to shy away from activities I loved because I was doubting my ability to do them. I wasn’t sure I could finish that marathon or hike that mountain again. I had been a listener of the Vegan Gym Podcast for while. I’d always learn something but I never really applied it to my life. Until one day something inside of me told me it was time to reach out to these vegan stars and I am so thankful that I did. Coach Laura has taught me so much about not only fueling and strengthening my body but shifting my mindset to help me get excited again about life. She helped me realize that the complacency was affecting not just my fitness.
The VSA team is committed to your success. Everyone comes in with different goals, and everyone receives a custom-made program. Meal plans are created with those goals in mind, while keeping your favorites on the menu (think tacos). If something didn’t work, the meal plan would be adjusted. An unexpected bonus was that my boyfriend decided to join me in the meal plan and in the process lost over 20 pounds. Now he is just as excited as I am about his own fitness goals. As a runner I was not new to a leg injury here and there. But Coach Laura developed my workouts taking into account those injuries. If I had any questions, comments, or apprehensions, Coach Laura was just a text away.
It is very much worth your money. Was it cheap? No. But I am far richer for having had this experience. No one can take away what I have learned about nutrition, fitness and about what I am capable of accomplishing.

Let’s me live my life!
I have finally found an actual personal program. Not something that is slightly tweaked from person to person. The coaches with VSA totally customize everything and will change things multiple times if they won’t work for you!
The VSA will also fit into your ACTUAL lifestyle. Yes typo have to change things but you don’t have to be scared to leave your house or break up with all your friends to avoid temptation.
I can tell you this works. I’ve seen many people from all walks of life with very different goals succeed. Don’t waste time/money on someone who “might” work. Get what you want. It’s worth it. You’re worth it.

I've never been so driven, efficient, or happy in my life!
Thanks to the Vegan Superhero Academy, I‘ve grown so much in such a short period of time while shredding inches off my waist. Much like the popular proverb give a man a fish and he is fed for a night, teach a man to fish and he is fed for life. Similarly the VSA taught me how to FISH [Fuel Inducing Sustainable Health] so I could blast away the excess body fat and anxiety I’ve carried since childhood. They gave me all the tools I needed to be my favorite version of me.
When I started the program, I learned the importance of investing in myself and properly fueling my body to keep it functioning as efficiently as possible. I’ll never forget the initial sensation of feeling INVINCIBLE during a morning run just one-month in; even as intensity increases it seems easier. I’ve never felt so in control or comfortable in my own skin and mind before this year.
The VSA taught me the significance of recovery, instead of constantly pushing myself to exhaustion to see progress. They simplified calculating macro/micronutrients as my physique changed to ensure the results I wanted and explained to me how to adjust them as my goals change. Their training instilled in me the mental fortitude needed to overcome obstacles, whereas before I lived in constant state of over-analysis paralysis, suffered from many mental health disorders, and accumulated bad habits that would have kept me tapped in a toxic cycle. Transformation of the mindset is just as crucial as the physical aspect when achieving aspirations.
But most importantly the VSA demonstrated the power of community and the effect of accountability. The only way you would not see results is if you did not show up. My only regret is not being more present in the community, I would have exceeded my goals instead of meeting them. And I am forever grateful for the opportunity to grow with a team that's changing the way the world views vegans. I’m beyond motivated by this incredible community that stands alongside me every day to prove to everyone what vegans are made of and what all we can do. Now every move I make determines how I cultivate the culture around me, so I’m going to keep advancing because there’s too much at stake to revert back to my old ways.

Sold on vegan fitness; gained HOPE.
Are you wondering right now, should I invest the amount of money needed for the VSA? As someone who went through the Academy, I can say I'm glad I invested in myself. It's honestly made me want to continuously improve my life.
First, I wanted to say my experience with the Vegan Gym actually started back on Instagram.
One day an advertisement popped up that showed Anders and Leif were offering a free live course re: vegan food. I thought...surely they're going to try to hook me into some $cheme, but what the heck. Long story short; they didn't. I got tremendous value from their breakdown, they offered a Q&A session, and I even won some swag/free protein samples. They didn't have some big ego or condescending approach and made me feel welcome.
After, I got a free copy of Leif's book, and then signed up for their 30day Reset; Was able to drop about 12lbs and learned SO much. Truth told I think I learned a good chunk of the info provided in the VSA through the 30-day reset, and in listening to their podcast too. HOWEVER, it is a lot to try to digest in 30 days and the VSA helped solidify this info/practice it with guidance.
Then I paid for their meal plans, but had to cancel due to money issues; they were gracious and refunded me. All of this is brought up because I realized how their ethics, actions and heart resonated with me.
This is why when we were asked if we wanted to sign up for the VSA, I was excited! I got the call / breakdown of what would be included--and then came the price point. I'd be remiss if I didn't say the jump in price made me nervous to sign on, even with the VG's willingness to break the costs down into payments. I'm not wealthy by any means and I'm a student who was relying on sporadic paid gigs. I didn't even know how I'd get it all or if I'd regret it or how to feel about losing out on savings by not paying in full that day. But I made it happen (and hopefully you can too)
Now, prior to the Vegan Gym/VSA, I had given up hope I'd ever understand how to reach my fitness goals as a Vegan body builder. There's so much conflicting noise out there and can be isolating. The VSA really cemented that it's all possible.
VSA provided:
*Informative/ instructive Meal plans
*Crucial nutritional information
*Guided routines with form checks and how to increase strength.
*Confidence building re: gym workouts
*Text/ call support that felt personalized/ invested.
They demystified the whole process, without bogus fad dieting. Approaches and info backed with proof rooted in non-biased sources. I got introduced to a resilient FB community that proved that all that I wanted wasn't some pipe dream--people were already living these lives! While I wish the group was more active (myself included) it still is great resource provided for alumni.
Ashely was in charge of my coaching / sometimes Anders, and both were really good at the balancing act it takes to be a good coach(es). They didn't offer me niceties to pacify me, yet didn't shame or degrade me either. They taught me further about accountability, about pushing my limits, about better life habits, and the means of achievement as well as redefining what success and failure meant. There's so much more I gained I could write ad nauseam about, but to wrap up.
I lost another 14lbs of fat! Then around day 65 (most workouts I'd ever done!) I finally fell off the wagon in terms of letting life get to me. Sticking to the meal preps/working out was crucial I realized and despite my slip ups, Ashley and Anders tried their best, and offered as much support (even extra really) to try and make my final stretch work.
Again, they were stern, yet supportive and I really appreciate that looking back. I reached 182 and was close to my 176lb goal.I made serious / measured strength progress. So I wish I could say I hit my target goals, and am a traditional success story, but in those regards I'm not.
After the VSA finished, I gained back 10lbs. However, I lost that weight again through their teachings and have remained stable with little effort minus my nutrition.
Where I do consider myself a success story, and one that ultimately thinks will prove this VSA is a GREAT investment, is in the fact that I now know what it takes to make all--not just my vegan fitness--goals a reality. The VSA modules and other teachings show you how to attain them. (Spend the time with those btw!)
The cliche goes that Rome wasn't built in a day, and I've known this, but what I didn't know prior was how much reframing, room for growth, and elimination of limiting beliefs there would be along the journey. I thank Ashley and the VSA for all they taught me. It's given me hope to keep going!
Coming up, with the tools the VSA taught me to succeed and a FB group that I will get back in touch with, I can't wait to come back and update this full circle--crushing my initial goals and more!

Kickstart your new you!
I wondered why I was stuck- working out, eating “right” but never getting to where I wanted to be.
I had come out of a major surgery and wanted to get back to running a marathon and lifting again. Ashley understood where I was post surgery, and me figure out what I needed to do to keep my body well and functioning. You can’t get fit if your body is out of sorts!
By the end of the 3 months I could do 1 full pull up 5 chin ups in a row and had lost 15lb of fat. I have never been able to do one pull up. I was so happy!
The lessons were interesting and informative. It was hard to fit them in with everything else happening - there was lots of information!
The weekly goal setting clinic helped me stay on track and the online group was fun to participate in.
I understand about food and what to eat and when. No diets here!
