Do not use the tram, the buses to & around Nottingham are cheaper and more comfortable. The company NETGO is despicable and way overcharges on its fare. Not only that, but the customer relations team are unprofessional and rude. I was a paying customer with a long history of paying for the tram and forgot to pay once exhausted after a long day at work, I got fined £70 but was told to appeal. I regret the wasted time/effort because all three appeals were rejected and support was rude and untimely.

This company is disgusting. In the age of contactless there is no reason why ticket inspectors aboard the tram cannot supply tickets to those who mistakenly boarded without a ticket. They are purely there to catch anyone who unknowingly boarded the tram to give them a huge fine. Like, that's their job, to fine people. Avoid this service if you can. I know I will. They put more effort into giving out fines than they do actually providing a good service. The trams are disgusting and often late, and the workers are rude. Meanwhile go figure they have a whole convoluted system about appealing a fine that is incredibly one sided, making it basically impossible to appeal your huge fine. It shows where their priorities are. Piece of shit company run by scumbags. Clearly they saw an opportunity to extort from the public. How is this allowed? Why should we put up with this? It's so broken and nonsensical.

Three Inspectors came on board about 11am. I thought this is good. One was checking whilst the other two were observing. He spent 90% checking pensioners who have free trouble when there were obvious tickets dodgers on board. It doesn't take a detective to spot them. If you want to reduce the problem, then you need to get tough and unfortunately confrontation. I myself confronted two lads kicking a board at the front of the tram and they got off. The driver thanked me. It's easy to pick on the working people but the others need to be targeted.

I boarded a tram today at highbury vale to go into nottingham to get home .The journey up until Wilkinson Street Park & Ride was ok .However it was then announced by our driver that her relief was not coming so we were told to board the tram behind to continue our journey which is fair enough if there is no driver available .However we boarded the next tram just sat down and the driver started shouting at everybody to exit the tram .Apparently she needed a wee .As you can imagine their were a lot of very unhappy passengers .Speaking to a fellow passenger she said that when the tram was at Hucknall the driver had plenty of time and chance to go to the toilet then . I feel as if we were treated very badly today and i am now reluctant to use the tram again

Bought a group rider ticket with my friend and the tram driver shut the door before everyone had even gotten off the tram, separating me and my friend along with different family members, which is to be honest completely abysmal service. Do these people even get any training anymore? Customer service absolutely appalling, to say nothing of the draconian car park police and perpetual tram works.

Service really has gotten bad over the years. Prices keep going higher and higher, Yet service only ever gets worse. Extremely expensive stupidly slow most drivers are not plesent and treat people as a inconvenience and its rare to be able to complete a journey without some sort of incident happening or tram breaking down In short unreliable expensive unpleasant to be on if you can grab a bus do it trams should be seen as a last resort option.

When it’s works it’s a good service. However, prices up again 5.30 And machines don’t accept all Notes (when they bother to work) - Always delays on trams around the city - This morning took me 2 hours to get to Work which is normally a 20 minute journey. The other week a tram I was on in hucknall caught fire. They don’t maintain the network well enough and trams are constantly Breaking down and disrupting service. They don’t provide a tram that’s not a problem but if kids jump on without paying police get called - A bit of a crazy operation going on here tbh Manchester Trams are much more reliable
