This company makes false claims, including by letting you select the date range when your items will arrive. That date is then ignored, and the items are sent out over 10 days before the selected time, meaning they will be stale and unusable for the event needed. I could have handled it through customer service, but instead of even being placed on hold to eventually talk to a human being, I was repeatedly hung up on after navigating the annoying automated system, due to supposed "call volume."

Could not get through to customer service for two days of calls and sent emails that were never answered. Was not able to change or cancel my shipments. Antiquated ordering/shipping systems and horrible customer service. Save your money and shop elsewhere!

Ordered through catalog, the item came a day early and thus was left unrefrigerated for a day. Tried to call them and you can NOT get to customer service, just the call center to place another order. The call center transferred me to a phone line that only rings without anyone ever answering and the other one on its invoices/shipping notices is "no longer in service". It does not respond to emails either. Another product that was to ship on 12/19 just shipped today, a week early. I have no idea what has happened to the other two orders. I may just need to place the amounts in dispute on my credit card. Do NOT buy from this company!!

I had the same problem other people have had with the Swiss Colony website. I put a different shipping address into their online form but it toggled back to my billing address in the order form. I contacted customer service immediately trying to fix the mistake. Their phone line hung up on me after I had gone through the menu. They responded to my email after 24 hours with this: Thank you for contacting Customer Service. “Your order has been shipped. Therefore, we cannot make the requested change. Our packages are shipped in refrigerated trucks to a postal center near the delivery area and then delivered by the U.S. Post Office. The packages stay refrigerated as long as possible before release to the Post Office. We hope this information is helpful to you.” DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SWISS COLONY!

Swiss Colony sent us a shipment, containing mostly perishable foods, that we never ordered totaling over $400! After discovering this fraudulent order, we immediately contacted customer service at Swiss Colony and explained that this was fraud and that we never placed said order. Since the charge did not appear on our credit card, we inquired about the payment method for this fraudulent order and were told that it was charged to our Swiss Colony account. We explained that we do not have a Swiss Colony account and requested the customer service representative to verify that we have no account. Upon checking, she determined that, although Swiss Colony created an account without our permission, there was no data in that account, no payment method, identification, NOTHING except our name and address. After explaining to the representative that we live in a remote area well over 30 miles from the closest donation facility, we requested Swiss Colony to have their courier pick up this fraudulent order and have it returned to Swiss Colony. Even so, we received a rude email the next day ordering us to drive the 60+ mile round trip to donate the order, obtain a receipt on official stationary and mail it back to Swiss Colony. Only then would they even consider not charging us for this fraudulent order. At almost 80 years of age I feel that it is not only unfair, but irresponsible and illegal of Swiss Colony to force me to spend the time, energy and money to drive the 60+ miles and spend that money on gasoline all for Swiss Colony's screwup. After this experience, I suggest that anyone looking for the type of merchandise Swiss Colony offers, look elsewhere. Do not purchase anything from this horrible company.

I placed an order with them in November 2023 for Christmas gifts. The catalog said that I could make monthly payments for the products I wanted. Then a week later I get a bill for the intire amount. I called the company and was never able to get a REAL person! Just a recording telling me the same thing over and over. I have very good credit, so there's no reason for not having monthly payments plus I didn't give them my ss# or permission to run my credit report. Apparently they lie about monthly payments. I just read all of the 1star reviews from other people who ordered from Swiss colony and I am not sending them one cent after reading all the really bad things about this company. It's clear it's NOT the reputable company it once was. When I couldn't get a REAL person in CSD that says it all. Beware of this bad company people!!!

Ordered 3 gift baskets for 3 of my siblings on December 5, 2023. Label Created December 6, 2023. Their Customer Service robot stated items were shipped but no delivery date. Today is December 11, 2023. On checking the tracking numbers, all Three have Only The Labels Created and NO Shipping Date available, No Delivery Date Available. They got my money but have Not Sent the items. And Yes, The Money has been debited from my bank.

I have ordered from them since 2019. This year I decided to place a large on line order. The site had a past order history page, with the past address for gift recipients. With a reorder prompt. Looks great, but when you get to check out there are no addresses. Even though the addresses were in my address book on the site and I edited each address the site returned to one shipping address..mine. Had it all set up ..correct addresses but when the order went through and it had one shipping address..mine. I immediately called customer service and received a message that they were closed till 8Am. I CALLED AGAIN at 8AM eastern to be finally told they are on central time. Called a third time and finally got a person. Who said that the order label was printed and she couldn't change the shipping and I should have called last night. I told her I had called, but customer service was closed.She said I should have called her number. I have no idea what her number is as it wasn't on the site. She then had the nerve to suggest that I call in my order since I was not computer savvy. I order item on line all the time with no problems! This is an antiquated site with poor customer service. Because of this I have almost $400.00 worth of items that were supposed to go to 3 different states coming to my home. SO BUYER BEWARE!!!! This really doesn't rate one☆.
