DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU LIVE IN SPAIN! It is not an approved entity in Spain, they are using translators and notaries in US so it's a complete waste of money and a SCAM as they even up-sell you on more services, promising it will be approved when I mentioned it was for legal purposes in Spain! The police here would absolutely not approve the documents with the US translator and notary. EDIT- they promised a refund, issued it and then a couple of days later (after asking me to remove this review) pulled the money again! Absolutely terrible how they scam and try to trick their customers!

After making the request of the translation and paying they sent me an email asking for another payment because it was "two pages" After several emails between us. Asking for a refund that's why they said Hello Linda, The website does not work as a quotation tool, we do offer a free service quotation on the website, you can request that before placing an order. We are unable to cancel your order, you can check our policies here: (WEBSITE) So.. they might charge you the double amount you submit and never refund.

Honestly, how can you translate "Divorced" for "Separated" and for it then to pass their Quality Control and be stamped as a "Certified translation"? There was also the issue of the company appearing to be in London while based in the US. I only discovered this after ringing a UK number and being told their standard delivery for a hard copy was 3-5 weeks. I ended up having to pay an extra $25 USD for FedEX. I would strongly recommend you check alternatives.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I paid extra to get documents here on time and when I called they told me I didn’t pay knowing I had it in my invoice I paid $10 EXTRA to have it here on time! They told me I never paid extra and refused to refund me. It is now April 26th and I need the documents for tomorrow morning this is beyond frustrating! As well as took me forever to get a hold of someone and on top charged me $110 to have three SIMPLE documents translated beyond ridiculous! Thank you to the rep on the phone named STEFANY FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!THIS PLACE IS JUST ASKING TO BE SUED!!!

1 estrella porque no se puede poner ninguna. Una vezguenza de empresa. Miré bien los comentarios y parecían serios. Asi que decidí pasar por ellos para traducir un document. Elegí el modo express y la traducción para uso profesional (precio por palabra). Me dieron un precio, acepté el pedido y pagué por la página web directamente. Unos minutos más tarde, recibo un email del departamento de contabilidad para decirme que el pago era incompleto y en vez de $80 era $250. Tras varios emails intercambiando (no responden al telefono), me dicen que no se puede cancelar el pedido y devolver el dinero, que son $50 por página (eso es el servicio que ofrecen para una traducción de uso oficial), o sea que con los $80 que he pagado, solo me traducen una página. Hay tantas agencias físicas buenas y baratas, que no aconsejo para nada esa empresa. Cuidado con las estafas!

They were unable to translate a simple birth certificate from French into English. The English was actually incomprehensible, and they still tried to pass it off as being acceptable. Avoid this company if you are searching for a translator.

I have used Excom.es for many years . Having sold my house in Spain the company took 90€ from my bank account without advising me they were going to . After contacting them they said it was for non return of Wifi hub I arranged for hub to be sent back to them on 10th Jan the unit was received by them - 3 months later and after untold amount of emails with no replies the 90€ has still not been refunded to my bank account

I was a new customer with The Spanish Group and the only reason why I chose this company over any other translation companies is because they were offering a 20% discount to new customers. Truth is, every company I looked at online would charge me the same price, some even cheaper without the 20% discount so there was never an outstanding reason to choose The Spanish Group. When I sent my documents to get a quote, they replied back saying the price would be more expensive because the translation was two pages and they refused to give me the discount they had been advertising online. I emailed back and asked them about the 20% off and they refused to apply it stating "they only offered the discount sometimes at their pleasing". I emailed back and forth, they first decided to give me a $5 discount which was half of what 20% of my discount would be. In the end, they even charged me more money to notarize it so it was definitely not worth it. My dissatisfaction with this company is not the actual money. but what bothered me so much about this company but their lack of professionalism and unwillingness to respect their own advertisement. I recommend any future customers to use ANY other company because you will pay less money but hopefully they will have better ethics.
