How hard is it to ship a plant? UPDATE - I finally received my olive tree. It’s in pretty sad shape, but I’m doctoring it and trying to get it to hang in there. Hopefully with a little TLC, it will come back to life. The best thing I can say it came with a really nice pot. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered 2 plants from their website which said shipping 2-3 days once order received. 3 weeks later I sent an email and was told one of my two plants were no longer available and asked what would I like to do? Well, send me the one you still have! Is that so hard? They agreed to refund the one plant and I asked for tracking info for the other and was told I’d receive an email once it shipped. Now 4 weeks out and no plant, no email and no tracking! They did process a partial refund to my CC but I’m still waiting! I guess I should have canceled the whole order and started over with another company! I rarely say this but… do not order from this company! Maybe in the future they will get better but right now they have problems!

I placed an order on February 19. I still have not received the order but my bank account was charged. I have a confirmation number but it seems that this must be a fraudulent site. I am highly disappointed because I was really looking forward to adding to my plants.

Beware of Bogus Site: No Product, No Service, Just Frustration I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with The Sill, and it was an absolute nightmare. After eagerly placing an order, I patiently waited for over a month for the product to arrive, only to be met with disappointment. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via email, there was absolutely no response from their supposed customer service team. This lack of communication and total disregard for customer inquiries is utterly unacceptable. It's clear that the sill operates with no intention of fulfilling orders or providing any form of customer support. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this bogus site. Your time and money are better invested elsewhere. Its a fake site.

Plant got damaged during delivery and probably will have to throw it out. I'm going to try and doctor it for a few days to see if it can be saved. This service was gifted and I have a whole year of receiving dead plants. How awesome! My rating is 0 stars, not even 1!

After 4 prior acceptable receipts, my surprise my present for my wife arrived with soil from the planter scattered on all of the leaves. I tried to salvage it by wiping all of the leaves with we paper towels. In addition, the company did not include the note that I specified should be with the plant at all.

Ordered an Olive tree for a Christmas present. Delivery to Oakland, CA. Also paid extra for the winterization,. Tree arrived dead after 2 weeks. Customer service is a joke and only willing to refund for the dead tree, not tax or pot - what's the point of full service if the main product is dead? The worst part is the customer service and their failure to reply or offer adequate service. Seems to be a planter pot selling scheme.

The Sill did finally reach out and offer me a $15 dollar credit. I won’t be taking avail of the offer because their prices are much higher than other venues for the same item. The money tree I purchased from The Sill continues to degrade. I felt it much more economical to just purchase a new one from another venue which is much lower in price than the Sill, even with the credit they offered me. However, I must state, they did finally reach out and offer some compensation. I have tried and tried to contact The Sill. I ordered a money plant and it came in and looked healthy. However, upon following all instructions of caring for this plant, it has started to die. These are supposed to be easy to care for plants. I’ve contacted The Sill and they do not bother returning emails. No phone number and chat doesn’t work. I will never order from this company again for the simple reason that they have non existent customer service. So, ya better hope everything goes correctly and stays that way because these people are obviously so arrogant that they feel they don’t have to answer to anyone regarding their product regardless of the issue.

I ordered an olive tree as a sentimental gift for a family member. Upon arrival, the tree was snapped in half where the support rod ended. Almost every leaf on the tree has fallen off and it was basically bare. While I understand that some plants get stressed in shipping, this was excessive. I contacted the company by email and on the web page. The "live chat" listed on the website was non existent. I provided pictures of the tree and answered the question of whether the box had been damaged. About a week went by with no response, and when I finally did hear back, I was offered a medium size plant of a different kind as they were out of olive trees. They only offered a portion of the price I paid, and when I questioned why I was told that the pot wasn't damaged so they wouldn't be sending another one/refunding that portion. I had already explained that I didn't want another plant as it was only an olive tree that held the sentiment and just wanted the refund. What need do I have for a pot without the plant, and it was a gift (which I had stated repeatedly). There was no option to send the pot back. All they did was refund a portion of my money. Now I have no gift, and an expensive pot.
