Poor Quality Control
I am understanding of the less than ideal nature of shipping living things. However, I have gotten plants off Amazon that arrived in better shape. My tiny dancer had mealy bugs and my string of frogs’ soil was bone dry. The frogs didn’t look so healthy either. I repotted both plants and saw that my frogs were totally root bound and had that fabric material that ends up suffocating the roots. I tried to save them, but my frogs sadly died. I ultimately had to dispose of the tiny dancer. I was devastated, but the mealy bugs were beyond control and could’ve spread to my 40+ other plants. Very poor quality control. Mealy bugs happen, but my tiny dancer had evidence of having had mealies before getting to me (webbing and wrinkly leaves). Also, I ordered a moisture meter that never arrived. I am giving two stars instead of one because I did get a response about that when I reached out and they sent one to me, albeit late. I just know personally that I will not be ordering from The Sill again.
