Pretty good so far!

My group has been using TherapyNotes for over 4 years. For the first 3 years we were very pleased with the service. However, for the past year there have been significant reliability problems with their system. We went nearly a week last year when the entire system was down. Since then there have been too many outages to count. On a regular basis the system will be down for periods of time that make it impossible to use when you have clients, need to schedule, need to bill, etc. Anytime inquiries are made regarding details on these repeated problems the canned response is simply that they are aware of the problem and appreciate our patience. They are poor at giving information about outages, timelines, and plans to ensure they stop. We have run out of patience and are moving to another system. While I am sure I don't understand what it takes to make their system work seamlessly, its reliability problems have created such significant issues for us that we just can't rely on it anymore. Maybe the other reviewers can live with this, but, we have a large group and rely on consistent access - which this doesn't provide. The TherapyNotes CEO reached out to me directly which was good customer service. He promised things will be much better. They have been for the past few weeks. I am waiting a few more months before we decide if we will move - but the system has to be more reliable and needs major improvements with the patient portal onboarding. For now my review stands as is - but - may improve if things improve.

I've used TherapyNotes since January, 2017 when I had a free trial. I'm a clinical psychologist and I'd resisted changing over to an EHR system, but do take Medicare and needed billing services and a better way to manage my practice records. While somewhat literate, I'm not a digital native and had all kinds of concerns about making this switch. IT'S BEEN GREAT. It took a little time in the beginning to learn things and set my practice up in the system, but I LOVE (as much as one can love an EHR) TherapyNotes. It's easy to use and the support has been phenomenal. Staff is available to help with any and all questions (even the stupid ones) about billing and about using the system and a bonus is that my notes are probably better as well. I highly recommend making the switch. Billing is easy, fast and accurate. I can print out receipts needed for clients and look at my financial picture routinely to make sure I'm on top of it. I think Therapy Notes is reasonably priced for what you get. There was some recent discussion among members of my state professional organization about different systems people were thinking about using and I gave Therapy Notes two thumbs up. I recommend it.

Support is superb! Program is user friendly and meets most of my needs. There are some lacunae for my needs, but I suspect that TN will help and/or develop methods of dealing with these minutea.

The software and the support at Therapy Notes are absolutely the best - I have all 3 of my clients using Therapy Notes and they are just as happy with the services provided by Therapy Notes as I. In fact, I kind-of unabashedly recommend them, even if I haven't been asked!
