Hi Serena, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback, and we are really sorry to hear that your pup has had trouble with the freeze-dried food pieces. We know how concerning that must be, especially for such a tiny dog. We are really glad to hear she enjoys the flavor, though! To make the food easier and safer for her to eat, we recommend adding a small amount of warm water (not boiling) to the air-dried food. This helps soften the pieces and makes them much easier to chew. Just pour enough warm water to moisten the food, let it sit for a couple of minutes, and then serve.
