Appalling customer service and dishonest practices

UPDATE: Received the reply below from Pets Table, but not surprisingly, received no contact from the company to follow up on their reply. My experience with Pets Table customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. The introductory two week box seemed like a fair deal and I was considering switching my girl off of dry. I don’t often have time to prepare her meals myself so I thought it would be nice to have a company that did it for her. My girl liked the food.. in all fairness she will eat anything. I decided I would do one more order which was supposed to be around $90. I hadn’t decided yet if I wanted to stick with them because $90 was a little high. I have a 15 pound dog who even on the best quality dry dog food never eats $90 worth in a month. A couple of days later, I’m checking my bank account and I see a charge from Pet’s table for $200! I immediately called customer service to resolve the issue. I explained that I had not ordered $200 worth of dog food and in fact when I had checked my order, it was under $90. The representative was completely unhelpful and stated that Pets Table does not give refunds. There was no acknowledgment of their error , nor any willingness to find a solution or a concern about losing a customer. And there was no one to escalate the call to as customer service is overseas in some call center. At that point I said cancel my service because I am not going to deal with a company that I cannot interact with if there’s an issue. Because of their deceptive sales practices and terrible customer service, I will not be recommending Pets Table to anyone. I’ve noticed that even their responses to people‘s complaints here nothing more than the exact same response to each and every complaint no matter what it is. This is obviously a company that doesn’t care about keeping customers long-term. I’m a Pet Sitter and I often recommend food that I think is good to my clients. Although the food might be good, I will never recommend them simply because they’re not an honest company and have no interest in fixing their mistakes. Although maybe it’s not a mistake and this is something that happens often. Either way their customer service is appalling as they have no interest in helping you and you cannot reach anybody who actually works in America to help you. I'll be sharing this experience with all my Pet Sitting clients and urging them to steer clear of this brand.
