I gave it 2 stars, because I had a bad bottle, that was suppose to be replaced. During shipping, evidently the bottle was damaged and sent back to the company. I haven’t received a replacement as of yet. Otherwise I love the product!

I wanted to love it, but I just didn't. The jerky was kind of tough and flavorless, and the meat sticks were weird. The BBQ thins were better, but still, overall, just not great. Le sigh. I guess there's a reason people put sugar in beef jerky.

Update: After posting this review I finally received a response asking for my mailing address so they could send me some replacement jerky. They did indeed replace the not crunchy jerky.... With more not crunchy jerky, some beef sticks and sunglasses. Although I appreciate the extra goodies, I stand by my review that the jerky is not at all as advertised. I ordered an 8 pack of their new BBQ flavor beef thins which were heavily advertised as being crunchy like a chip. Although tasty, all 8 bags I received were not even the slightest bit crunchy. They were all soft and chewy like regular jerky. I emailed customer service asking if that was normal or if I received a bad batch. I didn’t want a refund, just an explanation. After several days of waiting for a reply I finally received one saying “sorry you weren’t satisfied”, and asking for the lot# and exp date on the bags so they could “look into it.” That was it. No further follow up, or explanation regarding the lack of crunch. Feels like false advertising to me.

Ordered a 4 pack of the "beef thins" and the bag as well as the description says that it would be crunchy. Out of 4 bags not one single piece was crunchy, just very thin beef jerky. Although the taste was good, if I am told it will be crunchy and almost "chip" like that's what I was hoping for. Very disappointing, would definitely not purchase again.
