The customer service rep Mark Haslem was excellent, and the product is working as expected. The over the phone installer was a great help in assisting with the installation.
I would definitely recommend the company to anyone looking to purchase a steel customized pergola

Great ordering and speedy delivery experience.
After extensive searching and research, we decided on The Luxury Pergola, primarily because they offer customization of both height and size (up to 12×24), which was essential for matching our window height and maximizing our lake view. We were also impressed by The Luxury Pergola’s strong wind resistance and snow load specifications, and the fact that everything is made in the USA.
When we contacted the company, we spoke with their Design Consultant, Mark H., who was wonderful—knowledgeable, patient, and highly responsive. He answered all of our questions, guided us through the ordering process, and emailed us a detailed parts list for review and approval, incorporating the changes we requested.
We placed our order on 11/13, and it was delivered on 12/9, which is impressively fast for a customized pergola. We plan to install it over the next few months, as it’s winter here in Michigan. When the snow arrives, progress tends to slow—especially on a windy lakeside 😊.
We will update our review once the installation is complete.

Thank you for the detailed review! Being 'Made in the USA' allows us to turn around custom orders like yours much faster than the industry standard, so we are thrilled you were impressed with the delivery time. We will be sure to pass your kind words on to Mark. Good luck with the winter installation—we know that lake wind can be no joke!

Large Pergola
Mark Haslem helped me out a lot. He did an excellent job of explaining the product and offered to defer shipping to a later date.

Super Pergola for Large Built in Grill Patio Island
I purchased a Super Pergola from here, and it has been great so far! We have had it for almost a year, and we are entering the winter months, so time will tell for the durability. The product itself is great, and is allowing the family, friends & neighbors to enjoy my patio space in all different types of weather. The only negative is that it was rather large, and you will need a team to help install it, a little more than a DIY. The shipping was fast and make sure you have a large area to store it. Another hiccup is I have a slight leak of water in the gutter system in the middle of super pergola, where the two beams meet the center posts.
The sales experience was unique as you are spending a large dollar value over the internet, yet it was legit. The Sales Rep Chase Bess was awesome. He walked us thru the process, helped with the permitting process and answered the last-minute frantic installation calls. He is still helping us determine a path to correct the middle leak and helping with other creative solutions to add lights and screens. Chase has friendly and low-pressure sales tactics that has developed a strong rapport that would make me recommend this company to others who are interested in a Pergola.

Thanks for the recommendation! The Super Pergola is a massive upgrade, and we are glad you are enjoying it. Thank you for the heads-up to other customers about the size and storage needs upon delivery—that is great advice. We are fully committed to fixing that center leak, so please keep working with Chase, and we will ensure it gets sealed up tight. We really appreciate your business and the kind words about our team!

I recently had a Luxury pergola…
I recently had a Luxury pergola installed and I could not be happier. The structure feels very sturdy, the finish looks amazing, and the louvers work perfectly, smooth, quiet, and very functional. It has completely transformed the space. Overall I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend it.

We are so happy to hear this! We put a lot of engineering effort into making sure those louvers operate smoothly and quietly, so it is fantastic to know they are working perfectly for you. We are also glad that the sturdiness and finish met your expectations. Thank you for the high recommendation!

Great Customer Service
I worked with Mark H on the specification of our pergola - it was so easy and he was so patient and helpful. We opted for all the bells and whistles since we will be spending many hours under our pergola making great memories with our family and friends. But during the buying process, I am the type of person that needs to 100% understand each line item on the proposal and Mark was so knowledgeble and helpful in explaining everything. Then in the end we realized we needed a custom size - still not a problem at all. The customer service has been great. Our pergola will be set up in the spring. I'll write a second review on how that goes once it happens. So far I am very happy we selected The Luxury Pergola.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! We actually love working with customers who want to understand every line item—it shows you care as much about the details as we do. We are so glad Mark was able to walk you through the proposal and handle the custom sizing needs. We can’t wait for spring to arrive so you can start making those memories with family and friends. We look forward to hearing how the installation goes!
