LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

This ‘lamp’ is fantastic and was worth the long wait. All my friends are jealous to see this lamp in my living room. Very solid build and looks great! Also had a disco party with my kids synching the lamp with the music playing from my Iphone. I can recommend this!

I waited a long time and have a few issues with the glass (due to deliver company), however, in spite of that I have two Lampsters and they are awesome. Never thought I would say this but they were worth the wait. They are already a talking point in my house and are really well made. Stay patient and you will love them!

Well, im not a fake person nor is this a fake review. Im kickstarter backer and received 1 of my 2 lamps. It does take time because its a small team doing a big job. Has for the lamp, its great. Great quality and looks awesome. Lighting features are also great. You can use the app for colors but also just use it has a regular lamp with the touch of a button. Choose warm or cool, a mix of both, bright to the exact point you want it and not preset brightness settings. Overall lamp is awesome.

Waited for six months and it was totaly worth it! 😊

I backed this project on Kickstarter in late 2015. It's approaching mid 2019 now, and I'm still waiting. While I understand that a project like this can take longer than expected, they are now 2,5 years late on the initial estimated delivery. And it's not looking like things are going to get better. The management of this project has been extremely poor. Even promises of updates (not actual production or shipping, just status updates!) are broken time and time again. The last official update dates November 2018. In March 2019 a new update was promised on five occasions ("next week definitely"), but each time it was delayed for no clear reason. These guys received over 1 million dollars of funding, and clearly it was way more than they could handle. The whole company is an untransparent mess, and communication is the worst I've ever seen. So spare yourself the frustration and avoid these guys at all cost!

This company and the guy who runs it are terrible, just terrible. I’ve been round and round with them about... first, the wait time, not weeks, not months, YEARS to receive! Second, it wasn’t the lamp I ordered. They just up and sent me whatever, regardless of what I actually ordered.. didn’t even have a US plug (it was ordered with a US plug). Also, they ONLY communicate through Facebook so, good luck if you have an issue but don’t have Facebook. I’d say you only have about 12% chance of being satisfied

I am an original kickstarter backer of the Lampster. Loved the concept. Needed one at home. So I backed the stuff. But then the wait. The looooong wait. Litteraly years. Twice I even doubted it would ever arrive. So twice I mailed the guys and they told me my Lampster was on its way. In the meantime I could see reviews and comments of people getting theirs. Frustration levels high. Yet it turned out the Lampster was indeed on its way, because it finally arrived. You see the pictures on their website? Well its the same, just cooler. Works great and awesome looks. Totally worth the wait.

Got my Lampster two weeks ago and only waited two month (it had to be shipped to Europe so that is fast). The Lampster is just great and I do not want to miss him anymore. The light is great and can easily be adapted to any situation (or mood). And really everybody who comes into my office is envious.
