LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

This company is an absolute scam. i funded their Kickstarter 5 years ago and have not received anything from them. I have contacted them multiple times over the years and each time the process goes something like this: 1. I e-mail them asking when my order will ship. 2. They ignore my e-mail for a few months. 3. They finally reply stating something vague along the lines of "We will ship soon." 4. No shipment is done. 5. I go back to step 1. Meanwhile, this company has been selling to consumers outside of Kickstarter and Iniegogo. You can see on Kickstarter, Indiegogo and their Facebook page the number of consumers who, like myself have never received anything. If I were you I would not give them a dime, for it is very likely you'll never see anything for it.

It took a long time to get it but really love to have it in my desk, it haves good lighting and a very nice decoration for my place.

4 years ago I and many others preordered Lampsters and we paid for the Lampster and shipping, not price to be announced. This money was used to develop the product. This product has been fully developed and is on the market at a high price. 4 years later I have no Lampster and no refund and if I ever want to see a Lampster the company wants me to pay more money. To me this is extortion. I will loose the invested money, if I don't pay a little more.

I placed an order for a customised lampster during their kickstarter. Their kickstarter was a huge succes and due to the small scale operation of The Lampster team, delivery took a long time. During that period the team kept sending out regular updates and although I took a long time, the lamp is awesome! I had a broken glass when it arrived but a replacement glass was shipped over to me without any questions asked. Great follow up on their service. Could not have been happier with this new addition to my interior!

Spent almost $600 dollars for Lampsters 4 years ago. They have not delivered lamps to their initial Kickstarter backers. They ignore our questions and refuse to reimburse people. Fraudulent company.

Was part of the group that backed this via Lampster. 4 years on. 4 years of broken promises and delivery dates. They are putting new sales above those that backed them and demanding more money for them to be delivered. I doubt, along with the 1000s of others, that we will ever get our product. Be cautious, very very cautious, if you decide to part with your money with these scammers. You won't hear from them or see your money ever again.

Order arrived in a very short time (10 dasy within the EU). The lamp works as expected. Questions addressed to product support were answered very quickly (in hours). Happy with it so far.

This thing is awesome! I opened it and check it out but had to put it back in the box because its a Christmas present. The only problem is once my second son sees it i will probably have to buy another one.
