Just received my made-to-measure leather coat and to say that I am happy with it would be an understatement. I am delighted! The fit is perfect (I’m a big man and it’s difficult to find clothing in my correct size) and the tailoring and leather are first class. The whole process took about 6-7 weeks from initial enquiry to jacket delivery and the communication from TJM was consistently excellent. The only problem I had was with their exchange rate of A$ to US$ which was too high (TJM’s rate was A$1.60/US$1. Current rate is approximately A$1.30/US$1 and the Aussie has never been as high as A$1.60/1 greenback). However, we discussed this and I am sure TJM, being the honourable merchants that they are, will correct it. Overall, a very pleasant and successful online buying experience and I will have no hesitation in recommending The Jacket Maker to my friends.

The perfect customized leather coat... I had a winter leather coat just made by The Jacket Makers that was the most proper fit for me. I'm a big guy so when I gave them my measurements, thought it would be too expensive...it wasn't. Their leather products are astounding! Can't wait to give them my next order.

Great jacket, ordered the wrong size and shipped it back at my own expense, the customer service was fantastic, the day they revived the jacket I got an email asking for my measurements so they could make sure the next jacket would fit, I let him know I wanted a size bigger because it was just too small. Plus I added my measurements like he asked. The next day I got An email saying it was being sent to the trailer to be made. About 2 weeks later I received my jacket, it’s great quality, nicely maze and it came super quick! I appreciate your customers service!

I bought the ionic jacket with custom measurements and let me tell you it was perfect!. I was a little skeptical at first but I decided to do it. I really like how their customer service works. This is the second jacket I have purchased from TJM. I absolutely love it. I am a bigger man and had the Coffman black leather bomber made to my measurements. The jacket fits perfectly. The workmanship is quality. The gussets in the shoulders allow for easy movement.

Update on my 1 star review: I’ve changed to 3 stars. Long story short I ordered a custom jacket, the sizing was off so there was a bit of a back-and-forth to get the jacket modified. They could have left me with an ill fitting jacket but they ended going a bit further to make sure that I ended up with a jacket that fit me better. Its not a custom size but the fit will work. The jacket itself is good quality, thick suede, heavy zipper. Its a good product. I cant recommend custom sizing, if you need to modify, you’ll pay the shipping, and they have no phone service, you’ll have to email, and after its all said and done, it really does take a long time. So if you are going to purchase, they are good jackets, pay attention to the measurements of their stock sizes, and order that way. Shawn from their customer service was helpful, and kind of saved the day.
