Hello Jose; We’re sorry to hear that both your Catfish perished. You had notified us about the one that had perished shortly after delivery and we emailed you asking if you preferred a refund or credit on a future order. We never heard back from you and are now just learning that the second Catfish also perished. Will you be so kind as to reply to the email we sent you on whether you’d like a refund or credit on the first Catfish and also include any information you have on the second Catfish and we can proceed from there. Thank you.

Hi Paul; Thanks for your feedback. It’s highly unusual for fish to arrive healthy in appearance and then have 8 out of 10 of them perish in 24 hours. We would have liked to look into the details with you further even if it was after our 2-hour notification window. We would have begun with the acclimation process, your tank conditions, tankmates and diet and proceeded from there. We were aware of the FedEx delay in delivery and had sent you an email to ensure you that we pack them with enough pure oxygen to last a couple of days and guarantee live/healthy arrival. We had asked that you please let us know if there is any issue with their condition once delivered. We’d like to have had the opportunity to identify the root cause and try to resolve the issue. Please keep in mind that our 2-hour notification window is our policy, however, when so many fish perish in such a short period of time, it’s worth contacting us regardless. We’re sorry this was your experience with us and hope you will be willing to give us another try in the future.

Hello Lynn; We have refunded you for the Goldfish that perished during shipment. We’re sorry to hear that the other three also perished over the next three days. We would have liked the opportunity to review the pond conditions more with you. It sounds like you followed a temperature acclimation process. We highly recommend a full water and temperature process to ensure the fish make a smooth transition from our tanks to their new environment. Nevertheless, we are glad you now have Goldfish from another supplier that appear to be doing well. Should you decide to give us another try, we’re really here to assist our customers with any problems once they receive our fish. We encourage all customers to reach out to us at the first sign of ill health with our fish and we’re happy to assist in resolving the problem.

Hello Timothy; You did reach out to us on April 11th and we replied by email on April 12th but never heard back from you. As we do in any situation where a substantial number of fish perish after acclimation, we start by at least checking the water parameters in the aquarium they were transferred to so we can potentially rule that out and proceed to the next step. But without hearing from you again with the water parameters we requested, we could not proceed. Please let us know if you received our email, if you'd like, by reaching out to us at [email protected]. We never like to see that many fish perish and would like to identify the root cause.

Hello Brian; We’re sorry you’re so disappointed. We have the email we sent you on March 28th to let you know that FedEx would be delaying your shipment by one day and that we pack our fish to typically withstand a one day delay. We also asked that you contact us if there is any issue with your fish once they arrived. As we indicate on the guide enclosed with your shipment and our website, we have a live arrival guarantee and simply need for you to contact us immediately if the fish arrive perished. With the requested photos should that be the case, we typically provide a refund or credit. We’re sorry the fish perished and we would have been more than happy to address the problem had you contacted us. However, in reviewing our email and telephone communications with customers, we have no record of you contacting us. We notified you of the shipping delay and would have liked to show you further, the customer service we work very hard to deliver, but we need to be notified as soon as possible when there is a problem.
