The fish are nice but the customer service sucks. I had a dead fish come and 2 emails later have yet to receive a response on a refund or credit.

Hi Dan; We're very sorry one of your fish perished in shipment. We've searched through our email archive since seeing your review and can't seem to find any emails from you. We're not sure why they are not getting through but we'd be happy to refund you for the perished fish. Can we ask you to resend the email letting us know which of your fish perished? You can send your email to [email protected]. From this end, we will copy our reply here and send it via email to you so you can just reply to that if you like. Thank you for working with us on this.

The must expensive fish I got died after 2 days 😪
Response from The iFISH StoreMar 31, 2022
Hello Anan; It sounds like it was your Arowana that perished and we're very sorry to hear that. In looking at your order, you had purchased over a dozen Cichlids and the one Arowana. Not sure what type of behavior you were witnessing in the tank or even if you put all of the fish together in a community tank. But Arowanas aren't the best tankmates for Cichlids who may get bit aggressive with the Arowana if it isn't quite large enough yet. We're not sure what the Arowana's behavior was like or it's appearance a day or two after you acclimated it which would help us assess why it perished. We really appreciate your business and your large Cichlid order. We certainly would have liked the opportunity to work more closely with you at the first sign of a problem with the Arowana because we may have been able to turn the situation around.

My blue lobster died a couple days after receiving. I followed all the things I normally do for new fish and invertebrates. Not sure why, and not placing blame on you guys. Just a poor experience.

A few days after receiving the fish my whole tank was bombarded with Ich. I had five fish prior and never have had any issues with my system. I’ve had many tanks before and never had an issue.
Response from The iFISH StoreOct 27, 2021
Hi Cheyenne; We are sorry to hear this and have tried to get a better understanding of the conditions in your tank. First, we certainly understand your disappointment that the fish were stricken with ich. Ich is rather stealth-like and can reside on fish even though it is not outwardly apparent after a visual inspection of the fish. It will only become visible once the fish has been stressed, their immune system suppressed and they are not able to fight it. On our end, although not used as treatment for ich, our water system flows through a UV light which is a preventative for bacteria and parasites. We also perform thorough visual inspections of the fish when they first arrive at our facility, when they are in quarantine and when we are packing them for shipment. Any external signs of ich would surely have been spotted in that time. Once the fish arrive at their destination, our policy is to be notified within 2 hours of delivery if they are looking ill or extremely stressed. Even if after a day, we would still like to hear from our customers. In our experience once they have been in your aquarium for 7 days and ich presents itself, it’s usually something with the water conditions. During our communications, we know you said your pH is "fine" but in order for us to really help in assessing the situation, we needed to know the pH numbers as well as nitrites, nitrates and ammonia levels. We’re also concerned about what type of deep cleaning you did of your aquarium before receiving the fish. In these situations, the water needs to be cycled and given time for good bacteria to form for it to be a healthy environment. Ich is very treatable when caught early and most hobbyists have Super Ich Cure on hand for immediate use to avoid any delay in treatment as well as any other medications. The time frame in which you communicated to us that your fish perished was well outside the time frame stated in our live arrival guarantee policy. They had spent several days in your aquarium and we did not have enough detailed information to work with you on this when the first signs of ich appeared. We are sorry we could not issue a refund.

One was dead on arrival and a few had ick and most died even treating ick. Only two left and after spending that much money I definitely am not recommending to anyone else.

Hello Christina; We're sorry your experience with us wasn't a better one. We were glad that you immediately contacted us to let us know that one of your fish had perished during shipment and we were happy to issue a refund. We weren't made aware of the appearance of ich. That one email was the last that we heard from you. We really do like to work with our customers when they are confronted with significant problems after receiving our fish. We would have liked to have been notified again when you saw problems with the fish to assess the situation and work through the problem. Again, we wish your experience with us was a better one and hope that you might reconsider using us again in the future.

Hello Bill; We did receive communication from you concerning the fish that perished in shipment and had addressed that issue. But we had not heard from you until this review about fin rot. Typically, we like to work with our customers to try and understand the cause of these type of issues to see what we can do. If you are willing to open communication with us, please consider emailing us at [email protected] with additional information on behavior, tank parameters, feeding and tank mates. And if you have any photos of the fish with fin rot, that would be extremely helpful. We hope you take us up on our offer to look into this further. Thank you!

discus very small no color very thin lost one the next day other one not eating shiping wasnot bad
Response from The iFISH StoreFeb 16, 2021
Hello Allen; If you are comfortable opening up communication again on this we would certainly like to hear more about the acclimation of the Discus, tank parameters, feeding and tank mates so we can look further into this. On the size and muted color, this is very typical for juvenile Discus. However, we are concerned that one died the following day and the other is not eating. Please consider contacting us at [email protected] and providing us with the info mentioned above. If you have any photos of the fish you can share with us, that would also be helpful. Then we can proceed from there. Thank you!
