Fish shipped within 48hrs
Fish shipped within 48hrs, delivery however was another issue. FedEx showed a delivery time of between 10:45 and 2:45, actual delivery time was 7:03. Luckily they were packed well, as the heat packs were dead, but the fish seem to be okay.

Hi Kim;
Thanks so much for your feedback—we really appreciate you sharing your experience!
We’re glad to hear your cichlids arrived safely and that the packaging held up, even with the unexpected delay. That’s exactly why we take extra care with insulation and packing. Situations like late deliveries can definitely happen, and we want to make sure your fish are protected every step of the way. We’re sorry the delivery window didn’t line up as expected. That’s always frustrating, especially when you’re planning around it. But we’re happy to hear the fish are doing well.
If you ever notice anything off or have questions as they settle in, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always here to help. Thanks again for choosing us!

I will like to give more stars just for…
I will like to give more stars just for one little detail about what the fish was feeding before was sent it .My two fish disc refusing to eat one is just starting to eat and getting a nice orange color the second one still yellow and hide the entire day barely piking something I have the feeling is gonna die.

Hi Juan;
Thanks so much for your feedback and for taking such good care of your new Discus! We’re glad to hear one of them is starting to eat and show some nice color. It can sometimes take a little time for Discus to fully settle in after shipping—they’re sensitive fish and may go off food or hide until they feel comfortable in their new surroundings.
We typically feed a mix of high-protein flakes and pellets, along with frozen foods, so offering something similar (like frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp) can help encourage them to eat.
If the second one still isn’t improving, please reach out to us directly with some details and photos—we’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot and make sure everything’s on track.
Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Lovely Fish...no label??
All of my fish arrived alive and what would have been nice is if they were labeled. Only reason I deducted a star.

Hi John;
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear your African Cichlids arrived healthy and are doing well. We understand how juvenile Cichlids can be a bit challenging to tell apart since they haven’t quite developed their distinctive colors and markings yet. Although we typically don’t label the fish when packaging, we’re happy to do so when requested on the order. We appreciate you pointing this out!

They are supposed to quarantine their…
They are supposed to quarantine their fish to make sure they’re free of any disease. Ich is one of the most common diseases that is very difficult to get rid of once you have purchased a fish that has it and introduced it to your tank. I purchased a variety of fish and specifically the silver dollars that I purchased had this disease and introduced it to my tank and I lost some fish that I’ve had for almost 2 years as a total of seven fish plus all of the silver dollars I sent pictures I did everything I was supposed to do. My tank is absolutely beautiful my water levels, etc. are perfect and they were not willing to do anything to help. I clearly sent pictures of the host fish that had it after I pulled him out and put him in a hospital tank, but by then it was too late.
As a follow up at my original review, they have refunded me accordingly and I do want to explicitly say that I use double Fluval 407 filtration systems with very light charcoal to not interfere with medication‘s etc.. I also have two UV filters which cover each of those systems all on a 125 gallon tank as I’m sure you can understand it is really odd to me that out of all the fish that I introduced from their store, which I will say are beautiful fish, and exactly what I wanted the silver dollar one specifically was the first to have a massive outbreak and then subsequently the other one’s got it. What is interesting as my other fish showed no signs of ICH, but they passed away. I’m sure everyone can understand my frustration because I have invested a lot of money in time and effort into maintaining a beautiful aquarium and a beautiful ecosystem of top metal and bottom feeders, adequate pH at 7.0, special phosphate, filtration, ammonia, filtration, nitrate filtration. I typically add a product called ICHX whenever I add a new fish just to be on the safe side so as you can imagine this wasn’t a simple throw the fish in the tank and wish for the best so I hope enthusiast out there can understand my frustration. I have determined that going forward. I have already set up a Hospital tank that when I order fish, I am going to make sure they are in that tank isolated for at least four days before adding them to my tank just to be on the safe side, I wish there was a way to share a picture of my aquarium here but apparently there’s not.

Hi Judson;
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed description of your setup with us and the care you give your fish via email. It’s clear you’re very dedicated and experienced, and we completely understand how upsetting it can be when an issue arises in an aquarium.
At this time, our silver dollar fish—and all other fish currently in our tanks—show no visible signs of ich. We closely monitor our fish daily, and there have been no recent outbreaks at our facility. Our filtration system includes a 300-watt UV light to help prevent bacteria and parasites, and we check water parameters weekly.
It’s important to note that ich can sometimes exist in an aquarium without obvious symptoms. Outbreaks can occur when new fish are added, especially if there’s any stress or change in water conditions. Even healthy-looking fish can occasionally trigger an outbreak if ich or its spores were already present but inactive.
Silver dollar fish are particularly sensitive to stress and environmental changes, which can make them more susceptible to ich. Considering this, and since our fish were healthy at the time of shipment, it’s possible that the outbreak in your tank may have been related to pre-existing conditions or dormant ich already in your established aquarium. As you know, pinpointing the exact source of ich is often very difficult.
Because of this, we aren’t able to take responsibility for losses in established aquariums. That said, we truly value you as a customer and want to work toward a positive resolution. As a gesture of goodwill, we’ve issued a refund of $33.56 for your silver dollar fish.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns in the future—we’re always happy to help and provide guidance to keep your fish healthy.
