Hi Cindy; We typically use warm packs that we have tested and we're confident that that they did not cause the ambient temperature to elevate to a threatening level for the fish on board. The truth is that on occasion some fish just do not survive shipment due to stress. We are sorry that you did experience two perished fish on your order and have already issued you a refund. We have a Live Arrival Guarantee but if a fish perishes within 24 hours after that we still would like to hear from our customers to determine the cause. At the conclusion of our assessment, that may include providing you with a credit on a future order or a refund. We like to follow through on each of these situations because it helps us improve our operations and also results in happy customers and healthy fish. If you are inclined to provide us with more info on the situation such as acclimation procedure, tank parameters, tank mates and behavior/appearance of the perished Discus, we'd like to look into this further. Hello Scott; Our juvenile Discus typically run between 1.5 - 2 inches and are listed as ~2 inches on our site. We're sorry you were disappointed in their size and hope you will be pleased when you see how quickly they grow and their full colors emerge. Thank you for trusting in us and making a second purchase on a 4 inch Discus which we think you'll be pleased with. We have never received any negative feedback on the size of our larger Discus. The juveniles can sometimes range in size and we try to accurately reflect that range on our site. Thank you for your feedback and your business. They are both greatly appreciated!

Hello Douglas; No fancy excuses here. We dropped the ball in not packing your Plecos with your original order and also in not explaining fully that shipment is via UPS Next Day Air on the first Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after quarantine. We cringed when we were out of stock on your Plecos and hustled to get them to you as soon as possible; certainly at no additional shipping cost. We are sorry for your inconvenience and that it took so long to get your complete order. You did have a very large order which we appreciated greatly and hope that all of your new tank additions are doing well. We heard your message loud and clear on communicating immediately when we discover a delay. Thank you for your honest feedback. It is greatly appreciated.

Hello Mark; Unfortunately we were out of stock on the Clown Plecos and we were attempting to contact you to issue you a refund. But now that we see 2 Clown loaches perished, we will issue you a refund for them as well. We will send you an email concerning the refund. Ich is something that we occasionally hear about, however, the challenge is that although we treat our tanks and inspect our fish, it can remain hidden until the fish is stressed. On occasion, shipping can cause some fish to be stressed and ich to appear even though we see no signs of it on our end. Hopefully, you will accept the refund and your treatment process for the other loaches is taking hold. Please let us know how things proceed. And thanks for your feedback.
