Hello Steven; We’re sorry to hear that 10 out of 12 of your fish perished. You received your order on June 11th and per the enclosed instructions we request that you immediately notify us if the fish perished during transit and email us a photo. We would then provide a credit or refund; in your case, if such a large quantity perished DURING transit we would just send replacements once we received the submitted photo. Can we ask you to clarify when the fish perished? If they perished over the next few days can you provide us with this information: appearance and behavior upon receiving them and after the acclimation process we provide, tank parameters, tank mates and your feeding schedule. We would like to address this as soon as possible. If you would, please forward the requested information to [email protected]. We will work with you in rectifying the situation.

Hello TL; Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to address the peppering you noted on the Discus. We deal with a number of Suppliers and on occasion we believe there is some cross-breeding in their history. We are working to pre-qualify our vendors so that we eventually weed out these situations. We are working toward no evidence of peppering or any other characteristic representative of poor quality Discus. On sizing, we order 2" juveniles and sometimes they range between 1.5-2 inches so we list them as ~2 inches. You raised very valid points and we appreciate your feedback. We use this feedback to continually improve the quality of our fish and our operations.

Hello Ryker; We're sorry this was your experience with us. We have to say that this isn't the typical customer experience and the COVID pandemic has certainly thrown a monkey wrench into our supplier and outgoing customer shipment process. We've tried to keep our customers updated throughout but we still apologize for the speed bumps. At this point, we are informing our customers that when an order is placed, they will be received in approximately 7 - 10 Business Days. Yes, we ship via UPS Next Day Air but that is primarily to lessen the time the fish spend in transit. As we distance ourselves from the COVID impact, our turnaround time will vastly improve. You also mentioned not receiving a shipping email. Our system automatically sends out two email notifications to customers. The first is an Order Placement Verification Email on the day the order is placed. The second is a Shipment Confirmation Email that is automatically sent the day the order ships. We are aware that due to some firewalls, our notification emails make it into SPAM folders. But it appears you did receive your Shipping Confirmation email which was sent at 2:40PM on June 2nd. It would appear that you were expecting a shipping email before your order was prepared to ship. Nevertheless, we are sorry for the delay as we are trying to catch up in the midst of the impact the COVID pandemic has had on businesses. We are very happy that you were pleased with the quality of your fish. As we work around the operational challenges presented in a pandemic environment, we hope you'll consider using us agin for your future needs. Thank you for your business and your feedback!

Hello Deonta; Your order was placed on May 21st and our system automatically sent an Order Confirmation email that day at 3:18PM. We know there are times that are email notifications make it into SPAM folders so you may want to check there for that email. We tried sending it again on May 28th at 2:24PM. Your order was shipped on June 1st and you were sent a Shipment Confirmation email with UPS Tracking information that day. We can see in our system that you received your order on June 2nd. We'd certainly like to clear up the email issues here. Can you confirm that you received our emails? And also, were you satisfied with the fish that you ordered?
