I hired The Hoth to do 8 blog posts in their "Pro Service" that's extra. Let me tell you their quality of writing is some of the worst I've ever experienced in the industry. In fact, the work that I paid for is pretty much unusable and so sub-par that I would never want to post it on my website. I also paid them to do 2 two guest posts and once gain it is also terrible quality writing. I wasted time and money dealing with The Hoth and I could NEVER hire them or recommend them to ANYONE. FYI- I've requested a refund and of course they won't give me one and only will issue credits (but why would I ever need to redeem credits for more poor quality work?!)

They don’t do email verification and now spam me. Not sure how a tech company can let someone else use my email account like that without simple verification and I WOULD NEVER TRUST A TECH COMPANY who doesn’t have basic services like that Now check out their joke answer: “they don’t find an account in my name” DUH I never opened an account. Someone else use my email and you let him. What a joke of a company

I paid them to help me get real backlinks from real sites. I ended up getting links from 'scammy' sites/pages which they created for the purpose. This will do more harm than good and is definitely not White Hat SEO.

Brought in major companies set up my affiliate account, discussed that I would be referring companies, billing in excess of 3-4k. When it came to paying affiliate fees might I add after 40-50 days they de-activated the account and also refused to respond saying why would you give me approval as an affiliate wait for me to spend 3-4k and then decide for whatever reason that suddenly my affiliate account was not according to Terms & Conditions! Dodgy - stay, far far away from these guys.

I tried their linkbuilding package and they threw new links on artificially inflated domain authority sites. It was of zero value. I've been doing technical SEO for 13 years so I know what this is. I thought it'd be a nice turnkey solution to drum up new links but I think I'll have to disavow the links I bought from them. Their system was nice and easy to buy so I was hopeful this would work out, but the links they got were of no value so I have ended up wasting my money.

I've ordered 3 packages they sell which are the most expensive I've seen. Poor support and didn't let me know about the status of work being done until I contacted them 4 times. Guest posts are low domain authority and they turn the English over to the Philippines that had abhorable grammar and barely legible links on pages that rank 13 million on Alexa. My order was in Feb. 2019 and as of now they still say they're working on it. Over $300 for things I've been doing on my own for years. I've also lost page rank and backlinks as shown in Alexa and other tools. I was duped into thinking they were experts especially with their outrageous prices. Come to find out, after I complained that they told me, I didn't order the premier packages that are handled by college grads so they turned it over to filipinos to do these packages in English. I'm not knocking filipinos but the grammar, quality, and boost has only hurt my website. They will put you off by saying it will take months to see improvement. That is true for some SEO to get found but the quality of their websites they link you to are very poor. Their best DA site was in Japan. Others either had 0 rank or 17 million in Alexa. The closer to #1 the better. I'm in the U,S. with a U.S. website. Need I say more. Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! March 28th, 2019 - I will let you know if things turn out good. I'm on hold for now. If so, I will change my review and give them their due respect. Stay tuned for coming attractions. UPDATE: I have to give them some credit for being honest to some extent. They gave my money back. My website is still headed in a downward trend. Now, I have to wait for that part to clear up. 50% loss in links and stats.

I think thehoth is overhyped company, which not able to do anything with your site seo after paying such a heavy amount.

Not sure if theHoth is a legit business or a scam. We sent them our own, pre-written press release copy. They took two weeks, without a reply. We contacted them ourselves and were told they don't accept pre-written press releases and would need to write one themselves. Two weeks later, they simply copy-pasted our text. We asked for a small adjustment to the title, this took them 3 weeks to do, again without communicating with us. All this time we were in the dark about what was going on. Eventually after more than 2 months after we placed the order, they finished distributing the press release - however, 90% of all the links were from bad, web 2.0, low domain authority pages. Really a huge disappointment. Don't spend your budget on these clowns.
