We are genuinely disappointed to see this review, especially considering the full history of your experience with The Edge Funder. You were a strong trader. You demonstrated that over time, met the requirements of our program, and earned the opportunity to be moved to a LIVE account with real capital. We recognized your ability and gave you that opportunity because we believed in your trading. Your funds were not withheld. After transitioning to LIVE, unfortunately, you lost the live account through your own trading. We understand how disappointing that must be after working for months to reach that level, but losing a live account does not mean The Edge Funder suddenly owes you the profits displayed on your previous simulated account. That is why this review is particularly disappointing. We supported your progression, recognized you as a successful trader, and moved you into the position that many traders are working toward: LIVE trading with real capital. To then characterize what happened as us acting unethically and “withholding” $6,118.97 simply because the live account was subsequently lost is not a fair representation of what occurred. We would have much rather seen you succeed on the LIVE account and continue receiving payouts for a long time. Your success benefits both you and The Edge Funder. We respect the work you put in to reach LIVE status and were genuinely rooting for your continued success. That's exactly why it's disappointing to see the situation portrayed this way. You earned LIVE status. We honored that achievement and moved you to LIVE. Unfortunately, the LIVE account was then lost through trading. That is not a withheld payout, and it is not unethical behavior by The Edge Funder.

We appreciate that you started with us as a new trader and that The Edge Funder helped introduce you to prop firm trading. However, there is an important distinction that needs to be made here. Smiley does not decide which trading rules apply to you, and neither does any individual member of our team. The rules apply to every account and every trader equally. When our systems identify a rule violation, our team reviews the activity and communicates the outcome. They cannot simply overlook a violation because a trader says it was accidental. In your own review, you acknowledge that you opened a long position while you already had short positions open. Whether you intended to click Buy or Sell does not change what occurred on the account. The result was opposing positions, which violates our hedging policy. We understand that mistakes happen, especially for newer traders. Clicking the wrong button can absolutely be an honest mistake. But being a beginner or making an accidental trade cannot exempt an account from the rules. If we reversed violations every time someone told us the trade was accidental, we would no longer be enforcing the same standards for everyone. Your accounts were also not disabled because Smiley “felt like” disabling them, because you were close to a payout, or because we wanted you to purchase another account. Those are serious accusations and they are simply not accurate. The enforcement action resulted from the trading activity on the accounts. We also want to be clear about something for anyone considering The Edge Funder: if you make an order-entry mistake, manage it immediately, but understand that the underlying rule violation may still have consequences. Traders are responsible for every order submitted through their accounts. We appreciate the positive things you've said about The Edge Funder and Joovier, and we genuinely understand why losing accounts you worked hard on is frustrating. But frustration with the outcome does not mean the investigation was improper or that our team treated you unfairly. Rules have to mean the same thing whether an account is losing, profitable, one trade away from a target, or already at the target. That's the only fair way for us to enforce them.

We understand that pricing and account structure won't be the right fit for everyone, but there are a couple of things we'd like to clarify. First, we recently **reduced our account prices by 50%** specifically to make The Edge Funder more accessible to traders. Second, the 20% consistency rule isn't designed to throttle your profits. You can make as much as you want in a day. If you exceed 20% of your payout threshold, the system simply adjusts the threshold so your largest day remains within the consistency requirement. Nobody is asking you to intentionally make less money. Our payout requirements exist to demonstrate consistency over time, not just profitability during a short stretch of trading. We understand some traders would prefer to make a large amount quickly and immediately withdraw it, but that's simply not the model we operate. We appreciate the feedback, but calling the pricing too expensive after a 50% reduction while criticizing clearly published payout requirements doesn't tell the full story of what traders receive with the account.

Your review leaves out the reason your Discord access was revoked. You were not removed for asking about a payout. Your account was removed after an internal investigation found violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines involving coordinated activity across multiple accounts. Those actions are taken seriously because they undermine the integrity of the platform and fairness for every other trader. Regarding your payout, once a payout is approved and sent to our third-party payout provider, the remaining processing time is outside of The Edge Funder's control. During this period, our payout provider was also experiencing service interruptions that affected processing times. We understand delays are frustrating, but it's misleading to suggest you were removed simply for asking questions. The decision to terminate your access was based on policy violations identified during our investigation, not because you contacted support or requested a payout.

You did successfully receive both payouts, which is important to point out here. One payout was processed within minutes, while the second took longer due to payout volume at the time. Occasionally payouts may take a bit longer depending on request traffic, but that does not mean payouts are being withheld or delayed unfairly. Also, the trading platform where trades are executed is operated by a third-party provider and is not owned or developed by The Edge Funder directly. Technical issues such as duplicate entries, syncing delays, or platform glitches are related to the software provider itself, not manual actions taken by our firm. We understand technical issues can be frustrating, but leaving a negative review suggesting misconduct when payouts were still received and the execution platform itself is third-party is not an accurate representation of the situation.

Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify, the 7 trading days do not need to be consecutive. They can be completed at your own pace, as long as each day meets the minimum profit requirement. The consistency rule is designed to prevent payouts based on a single oversized trade and instead encourage steady, repeatable performance over time. We also see that there is no record of an active or past account associated with your review. We always encourage traders to fully review the rules or try the platform themselves before forming conclusions, as everything is clearly outlined ahead of time. For newer traders, we generally recommend starting in a demo environment first, as trading within structured rules can be challenging without experience. Thank you for the feedback, we understand how that could be frustrating. Just to clarify, the profit target itself does not change. What can happen is when a trader goes over the consistency limit for their account size, additional profit is required so that no single day makes up too large of the total. This can make it feel like the target has increased, but it’s part of the consistency rule designed to promote steady and controlled trading.
