The Edge Funder is a direct-to-funded futures prop firm built for traders who want a straightforward, transparent path to accessing capital.Unlike traditional prop firms that require traders to pass multi-phase evaluations before earning anything, The Edge Funder places traders into a funded environment from day one. There is no evaluation phase, no reset cycles, and no starting over from zero after passing a challenge. Traders are able to keep the progress they make while working toward payout eligibility. Our model is designed around consistency and risk management. Clear rules such as profit thresholds and consistency guidelines are in place to encourage sustainable trading habits rather than relying on one large trade. All rules, pricing, and account details are fully available before purchase so traders understand exactly how the accounts operate. We support multiple trading platforms including TradingView and Volumetrica, giving traders flexibility based on their preferred setup. In addition to the platform itself, traders gain access to an active community and coaching environment where questions are answered quickly and support is always available. The Edge Funder is not a get-rich-quick system. Trading requires discipline, patience, and continuous learning. Our goal is to provide traders with the structure, tools, and support needed to grow over time and become consistently profitable.

With all of the REPUTABLE prop firms out there, don't waste your money or time with Edge Funder. Absolute scam of a company/firm all around. They will and DID change the rules in their favor to deny payouts, etc. On my account - they keep billing me recurring monthly payments even though my account states once I receive my first payment that the subscription costs end. They also enforce rules that are NOT written into the FAQ/rules - even though I have screenshots and have sent them into their "customer service" which is literally just one guy named "Soy Sauce". JOKE - RUN AWAY!!
Response from TheedgefunderOct 7, 2026
We strongly disagree with this characterization of what happened.
The Edge Funder does not change rules to prevent traders from receiving payouts. Our account rules and requirements are published for traders to review, and it is ultimately each trader’s responsibility to understand the account they purchased before placing trades.
We also need to address the recurring billing claim. The subscription structure and the conditions for billing to stop are disclosed as part of the account terms. Purchasing an account without fully understanding those conditions does not mean the company continued billing improperly.
Most importantly, traders place and manage their own trades. We do not control your entries, exits, position sizes, profits, or losses. When a trader loses money through their own trading activity or violates an account rule, blaming The Edge Funder afterward does not accurately represent what occurred.
We are always willing to investigate legitimate concerns and correct something when we get it wrong. What we cannot do is waive published requirements after the fact simply because someone did not read or understand them.
Accountability is a major part of trading. That applies to understanding the rules just as much as it applies to the trades you choose to place.

If i could give a 0 star I would
If i could give a 0 star I would. They kick me out the discord and took my 2 active accounts away cause they claim i was in violation but can't tell me what I did exactly which is bad business!! Being i didnt get no refund for my 2 accounts that was active and I good standings. You can't talk to anybody unless you in the discord. So beware they do bad business. The whole platform with all the rules is set up for you to fail and keep giving them money. Better off trading live account. ....... Responding to they review. Again it was no communication of what I did or when I did it, none of that. I was just denied access to my accounts and once u dont have access to ur account u really can't communicate to anybody. Again stay away. Imma keep saying it cause I dont want other people going thru the same thing. Yall lieing and stealing from people. The right business thing to do was give me my money back from the 2 good standings accounts I had or just simply tell me what I did or was doing so I can know not to do it.

At this point, this is no longer constructive feedback.
You have repeatedly posted essentially the same review regarding the same incident, and previous reviews/accounts associated with this matter have already been removed by Trustpilot. Continuing to create new accounts or email addresses to repost the same accusations does not change the facts of what occurred.
Your accounts were not removed “for no reason.” They were disabled following violations of our trading policies, and the matter was reviewed and communicated to you. Disagreeing with the outcome does not mean there was no reason.
You are entitled to be unhappy with our decision and to leave an honest review about your experience. But repeatedly creating new profiles to publish the same accusations after previous reviews have been removed says far more about how you have chosen to handle this situation than it does about The Edge Funder.
Quite frankly, this continued behavior also reinforces that ending our relationship with you was the correct decision. Character, accountability, and professionalism matter to us. We want traders on our platform who can accept responsibility when rules are violated and handle disagreements professionally. This behavior does not reflect the type of trader or community member we want representing The Edge Funder.
We have already addressed this matter multiple times and will not continue relitigating the same account violation through Trustpilot.
We genuinely wish you the best moving forward, but it is time to move forward.

Do Not waste your money
This platform doesn’t accurately show your PnL. The interface used doesn’t record all your trades with dates and times actually on the interface itself so you can’t track your progress accurately.
The micro scalping 60 second rule appears to only apply to losses, so you can sure lose $200 in 50 seconds but you can not gain 200 in 50 seconds. This is not properly stated in the terms and conditions by the way!
I would not recommend spending any money with this company. The customer service is very unprofessional and inconsistent, with multiple people contacting you instead of one streamline conversation. The more questions and grievances you show, the less customer service you receive, almost as if customers complaints are a bother instead of a way to make this company better. Please read all the reviews before spending a dime and do not focus on the “damage control” responses that are under these reviews. Most of these responses only seek to make the company appear a certain way instead of honestly addressing these issues and concerns.

We take feedback seriously, but several statements in this review need clarification.
Our minimum trade duration rule exists for a reason. The Edge Funder is looking for traders who demonstrate consistent, sustainable trading behavior. Extremely short duration trading can be used to game simulated funding environments, which is why profits from trades that do not meet the minimum duration may not qualify. Losses remain losses because they represent actual account performance and risk taken by the trader.
This policy was not created after your trades or selectively applied to your account. Our trading rules and payout requirements are published and available to review before purchasing an account.
We also disagree with the characterization of our customer service. Our records show that our team responded to your concerns and worked with you throughout the process. Disagreeing with the answer provided does not mean you were ignored or treated unfairly.
We understand that our rules will not fit every trading style, particularly traders whose strategy relies heavily on trades lasting only seconds. That does not make the rules deceptive or the company dishonest.
Unfortunately, we see this pattern frequently. A rule is violated, the rule is enforced, and the resulting review portrays the enforcement as unfair treatment. We welcome criticism when we get something wrong, but we will also correct claims that do not accurately represent what occurred.
Our goal isn't to approve every trading style at any cost. It's to identify traders who can demonstrate consistency while following the rules of the account they chose to purchase.

I feel that the edge funder started off…
I feel that the edge funder started off with good intentions but they started changing rules to punish the trader and they never made it clear on what the new rules were and they made it hard to get payouts. I had got my 7 days and they said i validated the rule for not holding a trade for 1 min but it hit my stop loss in 50 something seconds and they made me start my whole 7 days over which messed with my mental as a trader knowing how much time I took to get to that payout and I haven’t recovered from it since I lost all my profit and went under my profit target cause I been second guessing trades which made me regress badly I was 3500 over my profit target ! Oh yeah not to mention you can loss money in a min but can’t get profit in a min even if it hits your tp! So if you’re a scalper i wouldn’t recommend going to them! But the volumetrica is a good platform! Let make this clear Joovier and his team are amazing coaches and i learned a lot but this prop firm need a lot of improvement
Response from TheedgefunderSep 30, 2026
We appreciate the positive comments about Joovier, our coaches, and the things you’ve learned with us. However, we need to correct the suggestion that The Edge Funder changes rules to punish traders or prevent payouts.
We actually listen closely to trader feedback and have changed numerous policies over time to make our accounts better, simpler, and more trader friendly. We will continue doing that when a change makes sense.
What we will not do is remove risk rules simply because a trader violated one or because a rule makes a particular trading strategy more difficult.
The minimum trade duration exists to discourage extremely short duration trading and help identify the consistent trading behavior we are looking for. If a trade does not satisfy a published payout requirement, the fact that the trader was otherwise profitable or close to a payout does not override that requirement.
We also want to address the statement that we “made you start your whole 7 days over.” Our team does not manually reset qualifying days because someone is approaching a payout. Trading activity either satisfies the applicable requirements or it does not.
We understand the frustration of working toward a payout and then discovering that some of your trading activity did not qualify. But losing subsequent profits, going below your threshold, or second guessing trades afterward are unfortunately part of trading. Those outcomes were not caused by The Edge Funder taking money from your account.
We genuinely value constructive criticism. A lot of improvements we've made came directly from listening to our traders. But our goal isn't to make every rule easier until virtually any trading behavior qualifies. We're trying to help develop consistent traders, not simply make it easier to pass payout requirements.
We appreciate you recognizing the value of the platform, Joovier, and our coaching team, and we hope you continue applying what you've learned.

To all the Traders out there
To all the Traders out there, do not use this Platform. I have made max profits on most days and lost all of it back in seconds even when I only buy one contract. On the day I finished in the green the employee there, Smiley said I was hedging because I bought positions in the MNQ and the MES and earned approximately $150 in MNQ and $15 in MES. They said they have to remove my profit from MES and about $25 from my MNQ. This is unscrupulous business activity. I have never heard this before. I signed up with another Platform and I have not experienced any such activity and impossible chances of making a profit like I experienced on The Edgefunder Platform form.
Response from TheedgefunderSep 7, 2026
Losing money on a trade is part of trading. The Edge Funder does not control the market, determine whether your trades win or lose, or remove profits simply because a trader had a profitable day.
The issue identified on your account was hedging, which is prohibited under our trading rules. Taking opposing positions across correlated products or accounts in a manner that constitutes hedging is a risk violation. This is not some unusual rule invented by The Edge Funder after you made money. Hedging restrictions are standard across the prop firm industry, and our rules are available for traders to review before trading.
If trading activity violates a published rule, profits associated with that activity may not qualify. That is very different from claiming we took your profits because you were successful.
We understand that losing trades and rule violations can be frustrating, but neither is evidence that traders have an “impossible chance” of making money with us. We pay traders who meet our requirements every day.
Traders are responsible for understanding the rules of the account they purchase and the positions they place. A rule violation does not become unfair simply because the trade happened to be profitable.

Terrible I would definitely not…
Terrible I would definitely not recommend this broker to anyone.
The mods can respond all they want. Their services and rules and terrible. Go to Lucid.
Response from TheedgefunderSep 7, 2026
Just to clarify, The Edge Funder is a prop firm, not a broker.
You’re absolutely entitled to prefer another company, including Lucid. Every prop firm has its own account structure and rules, and traders should choose the one that best fits how they trade.
What we won’t apologize for is enforcing the rules of our accounts consistently. Those rules are published before purchase so traders can decide whether The Edge Funder is right for them before spending any money.
We wish you the best with whichever firm you choose.

Important Context Was Not Missed
I appreciate their response, but I still believe my experience is important context for traders considering this firm.
My issue is not simply that the rules exist or that the 20% consistency rule is published. My issue is how these rules work together in real trading conditions, especially for scalpers.
I was trading one mini contract on the 15-second chart, reaching my daily target quickly, and stopping for the day in order to stay within the consistency requirements. From my perspective, that is disciplined behavior, not reckless behavior.
The concern is that losses from trades under one minute count immediately, while profits from trades under one minute may not count toward payout eligibility. That creates an uneven risk structure for traders who use fast execution strategies.
To clarify, I never said the firm officially recommended that I intentionally enter a losing trade just to reduce my daily profit.
My issue is with the practical effect of the one-minute rule once a trader is already in a position.
If I am slightly over the consistency amount and enter a micro trade to bring the account back within range, the one-minute rule can prevent me from managing that trade properly. If the trade moves against me quickly, I cannot simply exit and control the damage without risking that the trade does not meet the time requirement.
That means a trader trying to reduce a small overage could end up losing far more than the overage itself.
I also have screenshots showing that when I asked about this exact situation, I was told by 1 moderator to hold the losing trade for one minute and when I expressed my concerned it was doubled down by another moderator. (I can post names but I'm not trying to be messy) So while the firm may say it does not recommend intentionally taking a losing trade, the way the rule is being enforced can still put traders in a position where they are told to stay in a losing trade longer than they otherwise would.
That is the core issue.
The rule may be published, but the real-world impact of the rule can create unnecessary risk for traders who are trying to remain compliant.
I agree that every firm is not for every trading style. My review is meant to warn traders who scalp, trade lower timeframes, or struggle with discipline that this account structure may work against them if they are not careful.
I can acknowledge that the firm’s model may benefit long-term, patient traders. The access to the full account as drawdown can be a strong advantage for disciplined traders who think long term.
But based on my experience, I still would not recommend this firm for fast scalpers or traders who need clean, straightforward payout rules.
A prop firm’s most valuable asset is trust. When the rules create situations where winning trades can be disqualified, losses always count, and traders may be told to hold losing positions longer than they normally would, that trust becomes difficult to maintain.
Response from TheedgefunderSep 7, 2026
We appreciate the clarification, but there is still a fundamental misunderstanding here that is important for anyone reading this.
You never need to intentionally lose money to get back under your consistency amount.
If your $25K account has a $300 consistency amount and you finish the day at $305, you do not need to place another trade and try to lose $5. You can stop trading with the $305 profit. Your account remains profitable and your payout threshold simply adjusts according to the published 20% consistency calculation.
The scenario described in this review, entering another trade specifically to lose enough money to bring yourself back under $300, is therefore completely unnecessary and is not something The Edge Funder requires or recommends.
Regarding the one minute rule, if a moderator told you that a specific trade needed to remain open for one minute to qualify under the rule, that is different from telling you to intentionally take a losing trade or risk additional money. We will review the communication you referenced because we always want our team explaining these distinctions clearly.
The minimum trade duration is also not a rule requiring traders to remain in a position regardless of risk. If you need to exit a trade to protect your account, exit the trade. Risk management should come first. The consequence may be that a particular trade does not qualify under the applicable payout requirements, but protecting your account should never take a back seat to trying to make a trade qualify.
We also think your final point is fair. Our program may not be the best fit for every trading style. Extremely short duration scalpers should absolutely review the minimum trade duration and payout requirements before purchasing.
Where we disagree is the suggestion that our rules force traders to gamble or intentionally lose profits. They do not. If you exceed your consistency amount because you had a great trade, keep the profit, stop trading if you choose, and allow the consistency calculation to adjust. There is no requirement to trade the account back down.

Tried it 7x & could never meet the…
Tried it 7x & could never meet the trading day requirements SL Enable the right ticker & everything still could meet the trading day requirement
Response from TheedgefunderSep 7, 2026
Trying 7 times and not meeting the trading day requirement is frustrating, but that does not mean the requirement was impossible to meet.
Qualifying trading days have specific requirements that must be met for the day to count. Simply enabling a stop loss or trading the correct ticker does not automatically make a day qualify.
Our rules explain exactly what is required, and our team is available to review your trading activity if you're unsure why a particular day didn't count.
Many traders meet these same requirements and successfully receive payouts. We encourage traders to understand exactly what qualifies as a trading day before continuing to purchase additional accounts.
