The customer service was 10 out of 10; It was delivered on time and ready for the fridge; I have no complaints concerning that. I had the Monkey Business chocolates with peanuts and bananas. As someone with a sweet tooth, tho, the chocolates tasted bitter, very bitter (must be too healthy for me). Because this was my first time trying chocolate from The Conscious Bar, I wouldn't rate every single bar from you based on this first experience. I might try a different chocolate bar from you, but one with more sugar content for sure.

I appreciate the effort you put into making a quality product, and perhaps my taste buds have been too use to high sugar chocolate, but it reminds me of eating baker's chocolate.

Bar was delicious. However, price it too high. Will wait for a sale before ordering again.

Given that the price is a little ridiculous, I’d rate them as OK. I got the first order at about $5 per bar, which made it tolerable, but I was expecting to be blown away and was not. If the flavor was more unique, like they actually had a hint of date flavor, I’d say they’d be worth the discounted price, but there is no actual date flavor that I can taste, and they’re not sweet. At the end of the day, they taste like any of the bars you’d get from Walmart, Target, or Whole Foods, so I would never be ok with paying full price. I guess the sugar is from a better source, but not $10 worth it. I’ll consider buying if they have new flavors, at discount.

The product was on my porch and unfortunately was melted by time I was able to get package inside. I placed the chocolate in the refrigerator. I still ate the product, and it was good. I would like to reorder more but I am concerned the same thing will happen until the temperature drops.

the chocolate itself tastes great and I have enjoyed it very much for the last year or so. However, the calorie per bar has changed over the last year. I remember my usual bars (almond and coconut flavors) were between 230-240 calories and all of a sudden are not 270 calories. Not sure what is being done differently to produce them but for some people, those extra 30-40 calories matter!

My rating is based on the quality of the product - 5 and the that of the customer service, including delivery - 2. I have had 3 subscription deliveries. The latest delivery date was posted on the The Conscious Bar's website to be Sat. 19th. Because I live in the desert, I stayed home to grab it asap as delivered. Then delivery was delayed until Sunday, another day at home waiting. I got a message that On-Trac was unable to deliver because of insufficient info. It was finally delivered Monday, the 21st. So, 10 bars of chocolate took 5 days from order date to cover 600 miles. Meanwhile, the order promised a free bar to try; it wasn't included in package. I have sent the company 2 emails and no response. I have two other food delivery services and know that this experience is not typical of what one expects from a quality supplier of high-end products. I am both disappointed and sorry to have to cancel my subscription.

Generally, I love the chocolate, but the new Mint flavored bar is not mint flavored. It doesn't smell or taste like mint. It is simply another chocolate bar, but more expensive. Don't waste your money on the mint flavored bar.
